Problem with that is imo it requires a few runners with some pace around the false 9 which happens to be the other department we're lacking in. It's a hard situation and I think Steve Clarke is excellent but he does find it difficult to set up a side to be on the front foot, it's very much a case of being solid defensively and making the most of any attacking situation you get, I fancy his sides more in the bigger games than some of the so called lesser sides where we're maybe expected to win.
Don't know why Foden got subbed tonight btw. He looked like the one England player who was always getting on the ball and looking to make things happen, I'd love for Scotland to have an attacking talent like that coming through.
