My wife watched it and said I wouldn't like it as it's basically a chick flick.
For some reference I like stuff like Fauda.

Not a chick flick. It is decent. A bit grim but really well rounded.

Watched Season 2 of Future Man recently on Amazon Prime. Not as good as Season 1 but still good. Into Season 3 now.

(If I had a time machine I'd be tempted to go back and watch it from the start again. But I don't so I won't.)

Really emjoyed S1. Paused S2 as I couldn't het into it, lost it bigtime for me. Let me know if S3 picks back up and i might persevere

It’s a bit unfair to call somebody out for not thinking a tv series is as great as others do.
Everyone has their own reasons for enjoying certain tv, films, music etc.
Half the stuff I like would probably be called shite by others but fuck it, as long as I like it then it doesn’t matter.
In the interest of balance though I’m gonna watch it when I get home from my little break and I’ll happily report back my findings :-)

S1 was fantastic start to finish
S2 got a bit much with the high pitch voice person but I enjoyed it about 60% in
S3 had a weird dimension and I dodnt really enjoy it as much until about 80% in

I'd recommend to keep going but neither season 2 or 3 can come close to matching season 1.

FI called him out as being miserable and you said you agreed with him. Wherever it’s that bit you agreed with or something else I don’t know. No biggie.
Funnily enough your post about Future Man could have been written by me. Flew through series one and really enjoyed it but managed an episode and half of the second before binning it. Might try and get into it again one day.

Also winslet vaping... I'd had enough of that after 30 mins.

Not sure there were enough clues to do that by then, unless I missed them. They kept a lot of info back from giving the answer away too early.

Ahh, no I was agreeing with how good we thought MoE was. I thought FI was just making a joke about the miserable bit which he has now confirmed anyway bud.

Don't think I've mentioned Future Man, I have watched the first 2(?) episodes but didn't get into it myself. @TonyM maybe?

Just finished it and one of the best BBC series I've seen. Safe to say Sean Bean's acting has improved with age like a fine old wine with a sad ending bringing forth emotion from all that watched. I enjoyed Sharpes Rifles but a more wooden actor back then would have been difficult to find. His charisma pulled him through leading him on to greater things and was amazed Wilko Johnson took his head in GOT season one.

I'm watching Travelers - sci-fi/drama show about "travelers" from the future into the present, on a mission to save earth, and who can "travel" only by taking over the identity of someone who is about to die - on Netflix - the opening episode had a few rough edges - but the series has gotten better and better. It's really quite good - I'm disappointed that Netflix decided not to renew the series for a fourth season.

Yep,great series.Gutted when it was cancelled as it had plenty of mileage and a good following.
