My very thoughtsMemories of Rodney Marsh
If Bernardo says he wants to leave that has an affect on the price
He's not quick but he's not that slow, he's kind of deceptively quick but looks slower. Stats aren't the whole story.Yeah I’m exaggerating he’s not that slow but he’s not very quick. Which, again, is fine.
Hard work to slot him in there.Foden……….….Kane………...Mahrez
………….Grealish…De Bruyne……….
……………….Rodri/Gundo……………..
Zinchenko…Dias...Stones….Walker
……………….….Ederson…………………..
Play with grealish in mahrez's position, play gundo in grealish's old position and rodri as the dm, that would be much better and more balanced.Yes, I think an 8 too. Left of a front 3 makes less sense considering we have Foden, Sterling, Torres and Jesus to play there.

Don't see howIf Bernardo says he wants to leave that has an affect on the price
Is that the best wumming you can come up with, you boring twat? Not really.
Player value determined by two major factors, the quality of the player + the length of his contract.
IF the player become unhappy, that doesn't mean his value should drop couple millions.
Grealish is not half as good as Bernardo, so buying him to replace Bernardo will be another crime from the 3 amigos ( Pep, Txiki & Ferran ).
Reading that Villa forum and they all seem to think the only way he’d join City is because of money or his agent lining his own pockets. Or because he’s a Villa fan.
Ignoring a few important things I can think of:
- John McGinn or KDB?
- Dean Smith or Pep?
- Mid table or challenging for the league?
- Watching CL on TV or playing in it every season?
- The odd cup run if he’s lucky or consistently challenging?
- Villa players or City players as teammates?
I get that they’re precious over their golden boy but the mentality they have that they’re currently a bigger/similar draw for a player than we are is unbelievable.
It doesn't. The only way Bernardo influences the price of Grealish is if we sell him before we reach a deal with Villa. If Bernardo says he wants to leave that has an affect on the price
Don't see how
Will Kane be cheaper now if that's the case ?
Oh do fuck off.Grealish is not half as good as Bernardo, so buying him to replace Bernardo will be another crime from the 3 amigos ( Pep, Txiki & Ferran ).
Who has suggested City wouldn’t be getting “an acceptable offer for it to happen”?Can I ask this again.
Why are so many people taking it for granted Bernardo is leaving.
I keep reading 'now that he is on his way' and 'seems he wants out' etc.
Based on what? From what I have seen, there have been a couple speculative tweets by a couple of complete nobodies. Nothing more, that I know of. Heck, even if he himself had said something, even handed in a transfer request, someone would still need to come in with an acceptable offer for it to happen.
What am I missing.
Was thinking about that earlier.
If Jesus leaves could see Kane taking 9 and Grealish taking 10. If Jesus doesn’t leave then Kane takes 10 and not sure what Grealish takes.

What you’re saying is that you’ve not seen him make a statement in the press that he wants to leave? Because there’s quite obviously been plenty in the press saying he wants to leave via “sources” (which is usually his agent or even the player themselves whilst asking not to be quoted)For him to leave we would have to get an acceptable offer. For us to get an acceptable offer he would have to want to leave. I'm not seeing anything that says he does. So many are stating it like it is obvious he does. I'm trying to work out why.
