Jack Grealish

It’s only bettered by Band Of Brothers for all-time best TV show, for me. Brilliant. And McConaughey puts in one of the best acting performances ever!

As for Grealish, let’s do it, he’d be fucking brilliant for City and at a great age at 25 to still be before his prime (26-29). If he can learn to stay on his feet like Foden, he could become an incredible player!
I would put Chernobyl up there with Band of Brothers and True Detective S1 as three of the best single seasons I have ever watched.

This life as you now live it and have lived it, you will have to live once more and innumerable times more; and there will be nothing new in it, but every pain and every joy and every thought and sigh and everything unutterably small or great in your life will have to return to you, all in the same succession and sequence.

Everything straight lies. All truth is crooked, time itself is a circle.
I think human consciousness is a tragic misstep in evolution. We became too self- aware, nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself. We are creatures that should not exist by natural law. We are things that labor under the illusion of having a self, a secretion of sensory experience and feeling, programmed with total assurance that we are each somebody, when in fact everybody’s nobody.

I’m in.
I’ve took all the tyres off the neighbours cars and I am currently burning them in the back garden.
Manchesterranean
I empty a tin of Cossack deodorant every day into the global warming atmosphere to help, still fecking freezing :-).

I can never understand why players want to play in muggy/red hot conditions I'd much prefer to be running around for 90mins cooled down by the piss rain/snow.... But then again I'm not from Portugal.
Yes but playing / training accounts for probably 20% of your day. When you want to go out on the beer / pull / play with kids / shag your brothers wife, you might want a bit of 25C as well

We need to move Manchester.
Or speed up global warming.

I can actually see ADUG creating a priority CFG club to compete in the Super League once it’s established, based in a part of the world that can attract the absolute elite calibre of players we’ve struggled to get hold of. New York City could be the one, or even the UAE, as I imagine it’s going to be a global competition with the big North, South and Central American clubs involved for exposure and prestige.

It must be a kick in the bollocks for them to be unable to attract the likes of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe to the club on geographical grounds despite having the financial capacity to pay whatever it takes - especially when they instead opt for the Qatari platform in Paris instead.

LOL playing 90 mins in the rain is fine, but it's the freezing cold and pissing rain when your going to eat your Cataplana de marisco.

Wibble.

Still as confident as before that golden bollocks doesn’t want to move?
Yep and he's not for sale. Giannis Antetokounmpo signed largest contract in NBA history to stay at Milwaukee Bucks. Co-owner of Bucks is one half of Villa ownership. 100 million figure is meaningless to Villa owners relative to holding onto best players

Means absolutely nothing if he wants to leave.

In case "Financial Fair Play" has never been mentioned within your hearing, it doesn't matter how much your owner is worth, he's not allowed to invest in the playing side of the club.

American owners american sports clubs are their babaies and priorities, their premier league investments are exactly that investments with or profit and future reslae in mind.

Because he spunks cash in milwaukee, doesn't mean he won't flog your best player for the right amount to maximise profit for future investment.

If villa want to step up then more player investment is needed, selling an asset valued so high to be able to afford 4-5 more that will overall improve you and help a push for top 4-6 will dictate this not how much your owner is worth

Even our owner(s) have been curtailed by this in the past and will put whats financially sound for the club ahead of us getting the best, if we spend 100M on grealish and Kane, we will need to ensure our turnover covers it and that will mean us having to sell players, no matter the owner there is no big pot of money any club can just spend, well unless your barca and real who get bankrolled by the spanish government and local authorities all the time
