It’s mad that he’s having to have a meeting and grovel to the La Liga president over a contract. Shows how much in the shit they are.

Just strikes me a guy who has achieved what he has, earnt more money than he will ever need, does not want to enjoy the last couple of seasons playing in a team that would give him immense pleasure and satisfaction ( and that does not have to be MCFC)

It is an unreasonable 'commitment'. I for one wouldn't thank him for it, as it brings the baggage to the club too, as the court case has consequences for the new club too. Big ones. And I doubt our heirarchy wanted that post Cas.

It made sense for him to suck it up for a year out of 20 and see it out wothout throwing it all to shit. Nothing to do with commitment or apathy.

He may have since changed his mind about staying there, he may not have. Or if he has, this may change it again for him.

It's hilarious how they will ask Tebas to get away with FFP, it basically asking for cheating.

Also Laporta still bets on the Super League and hoping that the English Clubs will join.

He had no choice? Even if you exclude us because we may think he is too old too short or pep doesnt want to weaken barcelona or whatever, do you think he wouldnt have offers from Psg, the states, and other clubs in europe?

It has been clear that Barca couldnt finance his contract for months. If he is happy to let it play out, I doubt he doesn't have any idea what happens next or what options he has.


I think things just beed to play out in an appropriate order at appropriate times now. Everyone will go through the motions, and then the outcome will be what it will be.

How do they explain to other clubs they will simply allow Barcelona to bypass the rules ? Other clubs will not give a shit if Messi isn't playing in the league, they already get a lion's share of the league money.


Tebas should make it clear Messi WILL have to take a pay cut, and a big one. He has no contract, if he loves them and wants to stay then he will go on what aguero is on
