I have always assumed that he wanted to stay at Dortmund until his release clause kicks in (but needs to play champions league) and I think that is because he wants to go to a club that either can't afford or doesn't want to pay more than the release clause (mostly due to his reaction when they drew with Cologne).
Of course I hope that he comes to us, either this season or next.

I would be surprised if Haaland moves now, in the same window as Sancho. They will keep him there next season, then his Dad and agent could demand an even larger slice of the pie, when there is a smaller 75 mill fee.

I reckon a move is already lined up for him next season to Spain and that’s why we went cold after the Alf and Mino roadshow, and rumours of Chavs being put of by them insisting on a £150m clause.

I think the Spanish clubs will be in the mud financially for quite some time. Barcelona are in serious trouble debt wise and Madrid isn't getting the loan rates they previously got, they may be out of the picture for another year or two financially.

They would if they think £30 mill is the difference between qualifying for c/l next season or not. I’d guess they would take the hit for £30 mill.
Sounds like it would take a fair bit more to make them think again and don’t think anyone will pay what it takes this summer. My guess is he stays one more year at Dortmund.

Ahhh the £150 million question, who is in control of the contract, Haaland`s agent may well want to move next year for £68 million with a £50 million signing on fee and a £ 50 million agents fee?

Doubt they would be that confident after struggling this year with Sancho and Haaland in the side.

Loaning Delap wouldn’t make sense for anyone. Dortmund won’t play any young players they can’t make money on

He’s supposed to be joining the first team squad this season so fingers crossed he can impress enough to be in with a shot.
We may need him anyway after we’ve given away Jesus, Sterling, Bernardo and Mahrez : )

I don't see him being happy if he isnt playing,even if he is in the match squad.He is fircely ambitious and he is clearly too good for EDS football,he wants first team regular football and in fairness he deserves it.
The problem....he isnt yet good enough for us,and he has no loyalty to City having not long been at the club.

I hope i'm miles off,but i see frustration and impatience ahead.
