I think the complete opposite. At Villa he is under pressure to be the man, win the game, keep Villa in the PL and if Grealish plays well then Villa do well. Thats pressure. He comes here then he surrounded by great players and far less pressure on him to win the game every week. There is the pressure of the fee, but that comes with any big transfer.

I think the opposite, I still stand by the outgoing factor. We would pursue Grealish or any other midfielder if/when Bernardo departs. I just can't see any deal happening before then.

Grealish won't be thinking about pressure or competing, he will think he's going to walk into the side and he'll stay there as long as he keeps working because if he didn't have that much self-confidence and belief he wouldn't be where he is now.

Sky were reporting a buyout clause as fact when he renewed last year. If we have bid that there is nothing they can do about it, transfer request is unnecessary. Explains why they’re supposedly offering him a new deal already.

Anyone who thinks he's good value at the prices being quoted needs a reality check. He's been the best player in a poor Villa side (by a country mile, granted), and that's it.

Nope but City don't have a bottomless pit of money and he isn't what we need. Sterling and foden played on the left for us most of last season plus torres can play there where does grealish fit. Foden is a city fan he is 5 years younger and is already of a similar level if not better the grealish. You happy to cut fodens minutes? People saying he will replace bernando at cm, if bernando leaves are mad, bernandos energy on tenacity were key for us last year. He plays a position we are stacked, would cost an insane amount and sounds like we are trying to shove him into a position/role I personally don't think or havnt seen anything to make me believe he is capable of playing.
