Good wummingMad how people prefer to defend Mancini, a man known to fall out with everybody, even Balotelli who he let get away with murder over Bridge. Yeah Bridge is a bit of a wet lettuce but he never comes across a ****, no one speaks badly of him and always seems genuine and likeable. Can imagine what he’s saying is true and if you wasn’t in Mancinis good books you’d be hung out to dry.

I do honestly believe that the standard of international football is probably at an all time low. That was more my point as it is in my opinion no longer the pinnacle of the game. Burley may have been a stretch, but I would expect any of the last 16 in the CL to win the Euro's.
I would certainly expect City to beat any of the international teams from across the world.

International football is full of managers whose best traits are more in line with man management than tactics. There's a reason why none of the best managers manage countries, Luis Enrique aside. Although Mancini is a very very good manager, his stock was at its lowest ever when he took the Italy job.
I don't want to take away from Mancini. Italy were comfortably the best team at the Euros and he played a huge role in that. But the competition he had was dire, which is a reflection on international football more than anything.
