Seasoncard - 2021/22

Apparently you can get a supporter number by creating an account on the city website without needing Citizens membership.
So I've been told

This sort of shift would always cause a bit of disquiet, but it's where live events have been moving towards for some years, I can't remember the last time I actually had a paper ticket for a gig, and I've been using my "print at home" QR codes on my phone at City for at least three years. It was only a matter of time before it was implemented at City, and hopefully there aren't too many teething problems, and the FAQ seems reasonably thorough. I hope the people on here who are anxious about it figure it out and those who aren't are able to help you make sense of it before the season starts.

So there has been no change since the original announcement that it was mobile ticketing or print at home. The option to pick up a ticket print out is just a version of print at home and anyone who has ever needed to visit the ticket office on match day will know what a ballache that is :(

No apology to those supporters who were told they would be getting a card.

Exactly
i'd rather stay at home on match days than go near the ticket office
allocate a minimum of 1 hour to queue then
30 mins to get into N for the SS

anyones guess! ill know friday! Im presuming everyone else on this thread is a ST Holder to but havent got an email...plus never been tracking on ST Packs in years gone by?

Not to rub salt into wounds but it does say you can collect match tickets up to 7 days in advance.

It isn't clear if print at home can be allocated to F&F in needed, or if print at home negates the need for that?

It does say transferring tickets is only available via the digital option so maybe the print at homes have names on that might be checked?

hypothetically - if i have 2 seasons tickets...can i have both tickets for that game loaded on my phone..then bring my mate and scan us both in?

A bit like a flight boarding card when you have 2 QR codes for both passengers back to back?

and if i dont attend a game and pass 2 tickets on to friends...both have to have a supporters number and be linked via F&F so i can virtually share the ticket?

finally - Will there be ID checks? or is that near impossible IDing 50000 in 1 hour before game?

Yes hypothetically but no idea on ID’s etc.. suppose that may come down to what (if any) Covid regs are introduced

yeah
i saw that

why not go one time and get given them
paper tickets
for the whole season ?

i aint fucking about travelling down to the stadium
twice in a week to attend 1 game
I know it’s not ideal but at least they have offered a 3 rd option. The Rags and Gunners have told people to go a library to use their printer

The options I have are print at home, or collect a printed ticket from the office.

I don't have a printer, but my F & F do.

If I understand this correctly, I could request print at home, download the ticket, and then send it in an e-mail to F & F to print off for me to then return for match day?

I'm also assuming the same with Covid passports if this is still an issue as well - when I've looked, it seems to be a 48 hour duration pass, so, like the ticket, would have to be done on a match by match basis?

Not if there is a 22% premium for lower cat games and 83% on higher cat games if the other person has to pay individual match prices. That is what it would look like going through the exchange rather ran just sharing.
We'll have to wait and see but if the club had any sense (I know!) they'd forget about charging for upgrades for a while.
