I wasn’t sure, but it looks that way. Once you know you can’t go to a match, get whoever you want the ticket to go to to sign up and get a number. I guess it just means the club know who you are passing your ticket onto.

I agree. I’ve got every sympathy for those who aren’t happy about the new developments but it makes life easier for me. I occasionally have to miss a home game at very short notice due to work commitments and getting my card to whoever can use it can be a nightmare. That problem disappears with mobile ticketing.

Yes you get nothing if it does not sell but no different than last season on ticket exchange.

I may be missing something but it seems I can't add an adult to F & F unless they have Cityzen Membership. I would like to add Mrs Bill to my son's F & F so she can use his ticket on the odd occasion he can't make the game. It may only happen once or twice in a season so I don't want to pay £35 Cityzen Membership for the privilege. Any ideas, anyone ? Thanks.

The fact is that nothing has changed since the club announced it will be mobile ticketing or print at home.

You don't know what's changed though do you? This communication is a damn sight better than the one they originally planned to send, because that original one didn't cater for all the potential scenarios that we foresaw could occur. They were alwys going to do this and there's very little we could do about that.

We're less than thrilled but we're stuck with it.

I believe you and other City Matters reps did your best by telling the club about the depth of feeling against the options of mobile ticketing or print at home tickets.

They took this on board, spent some time considering their next steps and they have now confirmed mobile ticketing or print at home tickets as being the two available options.

City Matters is a 'supporter engagement' box ticked within the club and they continue to do what they planned to do anyway. I genuinely accept that you all thought you'd got the point across last week and that positive changes would be made. That isn't the case.

I got the email today. Clicked the link to take me to my account and was faced with a form to complete asking me to complete my name and address. I left it there. I’m sure it will sort itself out before the first match.

It os the old French customs example, they only opened one day a year to allow Japanese VCRs to be imported, so whilst on paper there was no protectionist policy (ban imports or prohibitive tariff) in practice there was.

The 19 possibly up to 30 times you have to do it will either force you to quit or fork out for a needless extra phone, either way I doubt they care.

Oi, no need for that. I made a sensible remark and he came back with a load of bollocks that was totally irrelevant. I certainly wasn't disrespecting him or his Mum and I hope they get sorted, which they will.

I've said all along cards should be a choice and I dont agree how this has been shuffled in through the back door.

But, it looks like it's happening so people better get used to it.

I'd have a card over using my phone but if there is no choice apart from printing tickets every week then phone it is.

Like it or not many things we take for granted are moving to mobile technology.

Tbh I couldn't really give a shit, it will be an inconvenience but we'll get used to it, no fuckin choice if you want to go.
