Jack Grealish

He would have been nuts not to have had one included when he signed his last contract. He supports Villa but as a professional he's ambitious. So they say to him, "Jack give us a couple more seasons, get us established in the premier league and if a top four club comes in for you we'll let you go for 70 million." Or words to that effect.

T5hats the shite Kane has fallen for in the past for zero medals in return - all footballers at this level are rich its about trophies. Grealish can go and watch Villa on his day's off but he wants medals - same with Kane - Shearer sits on a couch with fucking Phil Neville - Shearer brings out his his one PL winners medal and Neville brings out his 6 (?) PL winners medals 3 FA Cup winners and a CL one and puts Shearer in his place.

British record fee for Grealish...what a complete joke.

Not quite on a par with Sanchez to United but not far.

Will be selling him back to Villa or to his beloved rags

next Summer for half the fee. Whilst Villa use Grealish

money to bid 140m for Kane, forcing City to pay 150m

Better buying Ward Prowse for less than half and half

wages and watch him bang free kicks and penalties in

which would make better real difference to our current

poor quality in those areas
man hates this transfer so much he wrote a haiku

"Villa turning down Man City would not only be good for Villa but also good for football, the big six have had years of domination because they have raped every other club of their top players each season thus denying them opportunity to build a challenging squad, time for change." A Villa fan I came across on twitter....

Is he mentioning this place?
No, just a cliched dig at City that wouldn't be accepted on these boards. He's welcome to post it there of course, but considering he's on here it's just a bit two faced.

Tbf I can understand why they'd be upset. Their bravado has been shattered.

It's just disappointing because opposition fans are always welcome, but there's an expectation of respect to a certain degree when you become one of those folk.

This quote sums up Villa fans perfectly for me:

"he’s not the hero we all thought he was move on, the club is bigger than any player support the club not the players utv"

They call him a hero until the moment he dares... move to another club. Then they turn on him. They genuinely believe anyone who doesn't want to play for them for their whole career isn't worthy of their respect. Delusional arrogant fuckers.

You won't see any of this from us, not whether it's Agüero, Touré, Kompany, Silva, Bernardo, anyone.

I think one of our resident Villa friends is showing his true colours on Villa Talk, if they're the poster I believe they are.

Not cool buddy.
Fuck the deluded pricks. We taking their toy, they didn’t think it would happen like they didn’t with Barry, Milner or Delph. They’ll learn eventually. Mugs.

Nah, that seems reasonable to me. They thought he was more loyal than he was, but they're willing to support the club rather than a fangirl-ish cult love for him in particular. This is an emotive transfer but let's not be knobs for no reason. There's been MUCH worse Villa reactions on Twitter if you do want to slag some other fans off, you know.
