Messi pissed off Pep last summer with his change of mind after the club had gone balls deep for him meaning we missed out on signing a forward then having to play false 9 Pep is not to be pissed off lightly

Yeah of course, I just mean if it was as black and white as it looks of a choice between Kane or messi. I’d personally still go Kane but fuck it let’s get them both

Pol is trustworthy, but this isn’t how this works. Hours ago, Messi was keen on renewing. The story is just beginning. And if he’s not announced in Paris soon, this will drag on.
There are reports about us just looking into the situation just weeks ago.
This isn’t going to be resolved tonight, one way or another.

Context on the pics with the PSG players: most of them went there together post Copa America. He is a close friend to Neymar. Him being there doesn’t mean he’s going to PSG... necessarily. They’re not new vacation buddies.
 
I just don't see how we'd happily allow a free Messi to go to PSG with us wanting to sign him for years? Would Mansour be ok with that, surely there's certain things he'd have the final say on. You can't pass on this sort of opportunity. Could Kane and Messi not come in together if we sold a couple of players?

While true he is. Pep himself said we wouldnt sign an expensive player this summer as we couldnt afford it and look how thats working out. They say what they want to according to our agenda...

Yeah I said this a few pages but, if he had agreed a deal then it's perfectly plausible he's subsequently agreed to go along with some kind of plan to ensure La Liga lets it happen.

yhp. All politics. If he was leaving he'd have just left and signed for someone else in July, the fact we've got on with our business shows this is just a game being played elsewhere.
 
In hindsight this might be a great bit of news for us, if we commit to Kane now it shows him how serious we are about wanting him. It may be enough for him to put in a transfer request and maybe get Levy's arse to twitch.

No chance he has had contact today. This has kicked off in the past hour. Pretty sure the management will have a look at this.
 
This is a political game with la liga.I see Him still signing for Barca.

how embarrassing for Barca & especially Messi. No way to be treated
