I don’t understand how you can be the richest club ever, and still not be able to get rid of Mendy.

The bloke is a terrorist for our results, swap him for Bertrand who was free we win today.

I struggle to blame the players when Pep leaves better ones on the bench than those on the the pitch, and has done in every match since PSG second leg, most shockingly for the final. It's no wonder players are getting pissed off.

Todays team, as a season's opener, was astonishing, with at least five players sat warming their arses when they should have been playing.

Mendy(haha), Torres, Cancelo, Sterling should be bit players at best. Ake I'm not sure about yet, but we do have better, obviously.

I do think Pep may have lost his marbles!

Also, Grealish kept passing the ball forwards. If he wants to stay in the side he will have to cut that out!
 
Mahrez,Sterling,Torres,Mendy and Gundogan all poor.
Son only came into the game when he went to the right hand side against Mendy.
Jesus offered nothing when he came on.
Hopefully back to something decent next week.

It's a mystery thats for sure. Maybe Pep is so wrapped up with his possession and obsession with midfield thats he's just not seeing what's going on at left back. I'm clutching at straws here because surely he looks at re runs of the game and sees how crap Mendy is. As soon as Zinc came on we looked tonnes better down the left side.
