Yes I agree. Champions and a 100 million pound player making his debut. 45,000 season tickets and we can’t get rid of maybe 5000 individuals?

I stopped going when they told me that I’d get kicked out if I took sandwiches or a flask again, they said it was a policy designed to ensure that money was spent at the concession stands.
That was 3 years ago and I’d been taking sandwiches and a flask to home games since 1972.
I’ll never attend another City game and I’ve no regrets about my decision.

So whatever time of the day the match kicks off which could be between 1200 & 2000 you need sandwiches!!!

Yes, most of which are returned Norwich tickets, think until then there were a few hundred single tickets left. Still holidays.It’s no big deal.

I think it will be a close game to be honest. I can’t see us going from that lacklustre show last week to full throttle in the space of 6 days. I’d take any score as long as we win.

What are they moaning at before? Those moaners as you label them have bothered to buy tickets. If you charge your core support full price then offer the same tickets to people that didn't want one at that price at a cheaper price then they have every right to moan.

that's as short sighted as you can get and whilst our marketing/ticketing team gets a lot of often justified criticism, I can't see them being that inept.

I work for a company that runs racecourse stadia, we have just done something very similar, trust me it didn’t go down well with our core customers....

They really don’t help create a demand at times.

It probably doesn’t help that all tickets are released to members at once. If I’m a member and can only attend six games a season tomorrow wouldn’t be a priority. The last 2-3 home games, Boxing Day (if at home) plus the Scousers and rags would be the priority.

They really don’t help create a demand at times.

Imho they need to go back to releasing matchday tickets 6 weeks before the match like they always used to, so you knew if it was a Saturday, Sunday or Monday night ko (don’t think we’ve had a home Friday night yet). That’s really important for me around work commitments - more important than the opposition; I’d go and see us play anybody, but some dates/times more possible than others, workwise.

At a guess I ‘d say we have sold more of the returned tier 3 Norwich tickets than there are empty singles around the rest of the ground. Simply because fans can buy seats with friends there sat together.
