Just back from my evening walk. Went past the stadium as usual and clocked the plinths for the two statues.

Both substantial so I'd imagine the statues will be impressively dimensioned. Let's hope they do David and Vinny justice.

If you're standing directly in front of the East Stand entrance, the first plinth is just off to your right and the second is about 100 yards further on opposite entrance D.

I would imagine Sergio's and mine will be off to left for reasons of symmetry.

I wondered why they didn't fly it all the way to Manchester, until I remembered who handles Etihad at MAN.
