I'm a little disappointed he's chose today to come out with it. Maybe he's mad over Kane and lashing out
The event was fascinating and exhilarating, but also extremely weird. For instance, it was being hosted by investors and he basically dissed people who make money through investment and not hard work lol

Sounds like he's pissed off at what's gone on. Sometimes you cannot hide the disappointment. Pep is human same as everyone else

Going into the last 2 years of Pep, I don't want us to waste one of those years doing it without a striker, hopefully there's a plan over the next 6 days.
No plan B it seems. Hopefully sterling has a great season

I wish it were available so people could watch it. He made a little angry speech at the end against politicians and the powers that be.

The one time he became positively excited was when speaking about the Brazilian national team of 1982.

Sod it. I'd rather go through a season without a striker than muck about with Levy anymore. Right time to pull out and i can go back to thinking Kane scores goals but is a charisma vacuum who i would struggle to connect with.

My own opinion based probably on blue tinted glasses is that Levy wasn't interested in selling unless the figure was stupid. If we got to £150m he'd then say nah it is £200m now. Think about the language used from the spurs end '£150m would get negotiations started". I wouldn't trust him so City having a max price rather than a money is no object stance has to be the right approach otherwise we may have found ourselves in a situation where deals couldn't be done over the next couple of years because despite everything City money isn't infinite money. You get so excited to win you lose sight of the cost. I believe Levy will find this after this deal. Also refusing to negotiate doesn't make you a master negotiator.

I was concerned about screwing Kane after he made a push to leave but he can go back to the warm embrace of spurs fans and next time he meets up with England can compare the trophies of one of their own with one or our own.

I believe City are trying to be good people and respectful to other teams. This is why we will pay release clauses and will often help players move on.

Let’s help Ronaldo get out of Juventus and win the UCL in a final against Messi’s PSG. Lol

As much as we want to believe it, we don’t have the pull of a Real Madrid or a Barca….yet! Rank amateurs is a bit much don’t you think?
No. Look back at our transfer dealings over the past 7 years or so. We very rarely get involved in deals for players where other clubs are in the running, yet we invariably end up paying top price.
We've made some great signings, but quite a few poor ones too.

Compared to many other 'elite clubs, we're virtually non-runners when it comes to signing or even chasing big names. The Kane saga makes us look like we don't know how to get a transfer over the line.

Let's face it... Before going for Harry Kane, we hadn't even dipped our toes in the 'marquee market' since the days of Garry Cook.

I think rank amateurs is a pretty fair assessment of Txiki and Co's performance in the 'big boy' transfer market.
