To late in the day i amagine.I know that. But I think Utd will bid. I would if I were the Glazers. Easy way to kill all Glazer protests for a start
He was one of those runon Pep sentences that he does when speaking in English which had two or three different clauses making it hard to know which one leads from the next. The meaning was pretty ambivalent and changes depending on whether you add comas or full stops, but ultimately doesn't mean much.Is that true? Saw it was all doom and gloom never checked the interview myself. Hope we can get him to stay for longer fear we will have a rocky few years when he goes. As for Ronaldo he is a knob but if the deal is doable I would go for it he knows where the net is and knows the league he offers us an aerial threat which will allow us to mix up our game, if pep wants him hope we get it done we need someone and I think he is the lowest risk option.
Indeed. He started looking to Madrid at 21. At 22 he handed in a Transfer Request and Madrid had £55m lined up. It was refused, although Fergie told him if he signed a new contract for United he’d sell him a year later (with the new contract being a tool to earn a higher transfer fee), and he obliged. How is he a United legend though? Genuine question. He arrived at the club as a kid and left at 23 having repeatedly undermined the club by stating his dream was Madrid and tried to leave on 3 separate occasions. United fans can delude themselves into thinking he's their legend but he's a Madrid legend who developed at United. That's it.
We flushed £50m a few times down the toilet on players £25m for Ronaldo is a no br
Hopefully before Saturday so he doesn’t hear the you can stick your ronaldo up your arse chants! :/They won't be publicly admitting an interested. They haven't categorically ruled it out either. Its definitely on. This will happen in the next day or so I reckon.
People mature as they age .His Juventus team mates loved him in the squad, I think he’s more of a team player now than he was at Madrid. Such as yes he does that celebration but always goes over to the guy who assisted him after it.
Christ, we welcomed Terry Cooke with open arms!Cmon City do it!!! Would be fantastic we welcomed Tevez with open arms been 10+ since he played for that lot doesn't owe them F all. Sure he'd enjoy it here with the Portuguese lads my mouth waters at prospect of KDB, Mahrez, Sterling, Gundo, Grealish, CR7 & co.
ok charlieI’m really so ashamed of what our fans have become.
Hope when it doesn’t happen, people take a long hard look in the mirror
It's a case of United fans attaching themselves to him rather than his love for United. He evidently does not care about them hence why he's trying to join us.Indeed. I don’t think he was arsed about United all that much. Was always about being a Madrid player for him.
Its my opinion about pep, if we do go for him then that opinion will be wrong, but as yet there is no proof we want him.I don't think it will happen either because Man Utd will move. But if Pep didn't want him why are we in for him. I think we are wary of Utd so unlikely to happen
Who says pep shares my opinion. Why wouldn’t Pep want him if he doesn’t improve us?
Tbf he was arguably the best player they ever had (even if he did leave at the first opportunity), if we're talking about peak performance. It's easy to get attached. It's a case of United fans attaching themselves to him rather than his love for United. He evidently does not care about them hence why he's trying to join us.
I don't think that's on the cards tbh.New contract for Juve probably
