Well it's being mentioned on a City board, by City fans before he's even signed, or being linked to come by anything other than Twitter/SSN.
I was referring to the msm.

On here we have a brutal honesty. No fucker is allowed to get away with anything!!! :D

The £25m isnt for Juventus its to pay the remainder of his 2 years left on his contract , his agent then wants "only" £250k a week for another two year contract with us , probably a total cost of £50m for two years , which for a player of his stature isnt stupid money , despite his age.
Its just the thought of his name being on the back of our shirt i can't get to grips with , the saving grace is imagine the pain the Rags will go through when he scores a last minute winner in a derby game at the Swamp , that would be priceless.
I just look at it in simple terms that it increases our chances of winning trophies, and gives us a bit of breathing space to find the future striker. He is clinical, and in our team wouldn’t need to do too much running around, and imo is a far better player than Harry Kane, even at 36, and would be ideal for Pep’s final 2 years with us.

If we've offered that(230k), considering what he earns now, there are probably some big bonus incentives to make sure he hits the numbers City want(have you been reading my posts Txiki?).
Probably gets to keep all this city related image and commercial income etc but I knew it would be a reasonably low wage because it's Ronaldo and Mendes doing all the chasing not us. They came to us !

Bernardo has never played in Spain. I think it’s more a case of he’s not a fan of the Manchester weather anymore… that’s what I took from all the stories.
I could be putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5, but Bernardo announced he was in a new relationship in the middle of 2020, then that summer he asked to leave, and obviously still wants out a year later. My guess is he is madly in love, she hates UK life and he has decided to move for her. So Spain, Italy, I don’t think it matters too much as long as the lifestyle suits them as a couple. Could be wrong though but it adds up to me.

I agree... we were looking at Kane who was also a temporary fix (because that suits Pep) so why not do the deal for CR, boil a ton of piss in Salford and add goals... No brainer for me IF Haaland is simply out of reach.

Well the guy's an absolute tosser and I also find it kind of odd that nobody is concerned over the fact that there's a fairly credible rape allegation hanging over him that has never really been properly addressed. I know this kind of chat never goes down well on here though so Im out.
Remember Ched Evans?

Let's not make allegations without the full facts.

Why don't we simply pay the fee..it's €25M and we can sell Bernardo to ac Milan on loan with obligation to buy. Don't understand city's obsession here with not paying the transfer fee and swap deal

or off to NYCFC after his time here? I agree, as long as his wages are reasonable, pay the money and get him in as he will still score goals which is what we need!

I think City will reach an agreement with Juve. It is in our interests to do this and the costs do not seem prohibitive. I can't see why City wouldn't push hard for this to happen.

That tweet reeks of rag fear, is he fuck finished. Joint top scorer in the euros, still scored shitloads for Juve last season. Even one season with us would be fine, gives us that figurehead up front we don't currently have.
Still think it's a really difficult move to complete in such a short space of time though

Whether we agree with it or not, the club have been very principled about this sort of thing. I suspect:

1) It's good business practice on a financial front to be consistent.
2) Overpaying on one player could lead to a knock on effect where we are forced to overpay for another.

Who knows, maybe it's just posturing from City, although I doubt that's the case.
