However, what I don’t understand are the continual comments in the media that we have to sell before we can buy. WHY? We must have earned more than any English club last year & have no worries about funding the infrastructure which is outside FFP. How can rags, Chelski; PSG, RM (who are skint) etc just pop up & buy who they want. By the same rules why don’t we just bid for Haaland? Let’s take out a serviceable loan over 6 years to cover the cost. Stuff the wage structure- we have to compete in the transfer market as well as in the pitch.

Personally I thought we should spend big to bring a top tier striker in. We should be bidding silly money for Mbappe and make PSG think 'fuck RM, I'll take City's moneh as they're offering much more'

Aggressive must've meant buying a player with a release clause and a ridiculous one at that. I think the writing was on the wall for this window when we hadn't made any signings until after the first week in August.
 
What's most evident in all of this is the amount of flapping from the media, ex-footballers, fans from other clubs, the list goes on, when connected with these players like Kane and Ronaldo. Little old City has come a long way since the days when no one could give a F**k about us. Also, some of our fans want to give their heads a wobble and remember how far we have come in the last 10 years or so.

Probably because they beat us three games in a row including the biggest game of all, then added a proper striker, while we still have no decent finisher at the club.

The same team that beat us in the final added to their squad a piece they needed. We added grealish to a team full of mids that already play his position. If you can’t see Chelsea are just as good as us then I don’t know what your not seeing

Many talk about how only the prem matters, but then Chelsea are now better then us. If any of the games we have lost in the past few years have shown us anything it’s that we need someone to put the ball in the net when the rest of the team is having an off day. Ronaldo could have solved that, hell messi could have as well and he was a free. It is most definitely a huge disappointment to not add either of those two when they wanted to play here. It’s not like we signed a young striker that has a lot of promise like haaland or even vlahovic. We’ve come away with no one to put the ball in the net

The executive board of the club is that dude who gets pissed that there are multiple guys hitting on on a 10/10 bird in the club. Thinks vying for her attention is beneath him, calls her a slut, "never wanted her anyway" and goes to town with the nerdy chick who nobody wants but will look like Megan Fox if she were fit.
