Kane didn't become a world class striker until Pochettino gave him a chance in the Spurs team. Kane didn't pull up any trees in his loan spells beforehand.

Give Delap a go. With great creative players around him what is the worse that could happen
 
We should have distanced ourselves yesterday. Hope Mendes dint fuck us over. Won't sugar coat it but a striker is needed. I know last season etc but we need someone in the box, won't have Gundo scoring the same number again and again.

Really? Beat us 3 in a row, took the most points in the league since tuchel arrived, won the CL and have made a massive signing up top which was their only problem last season. Kante and jorginho in the middle of the park. I absolutely hate those cunts but if you can't look at their team now and say they are up there with the very best then you're in denial

Oo I know that, but he would be the type of player that would bang in goals for us. His first touch is sometimes abysmal but he’s still a top striker in the world. KDB has backed in for years and stated he’s a wonderful player.

There are certain clubs that FFP was never designed to affect.


A couple of exceptions of course, but they're usually with context. For example Barcelona were only hurt by the fact that Tebas made it his mission to fuck them over their bad finances.
 
Being objective about the whole issue, the last thing we need is a primadonna who walzes into the club on a higher salary than anyone else and demands to play every game (one of the main drivers behind him leaving Juve incidentally).
I think us turning him down has an awful lot to do with the above.
Let those daft rag idiots sign him just like they did with Suarez.
