Who would have thought at the start of the transfer window that

Pochettino would be Messi manager and
Solskjaer would be Ronaldo manager !

Cant really see any of those managers being in charge especially Solskjaer, Ronaldo will walk all over him lol

We had a chance to sign either messi or Ronaldo, and we missed both. Also missed kane and Lukaku, pretty embarrasing transfer window. I wanna see what that Grealish dude starts doing to justify his 100 mil fee.

I reckon there is a strong possibility (assuming we are still competing for prem and champions league) that we will try and get haaland in January.

Dortmund will likely be miles off Munich and they realistically aren’t gonna win champions league so can see us offering £100 million to try and get the run on other clubs. we must sign him next summer
your living in cloud cuckoo land my friend

I agree completely

The club are a farce with recruitment for the very best in their prime.

Or it’s just we are not that much of a big pull?

Ronaldo was always going to Utd above City. We should have just stayed well away.

I don't know about farce but just really bad at planning. We really do seem to struggle if there isn't a release clause.

Our team shouldn't have no recognised striker (Jesus said he wants to play on the wing) and no recognised left back.

We also have a glaring weakness at defensive midfield with us relying on a 36 year old Fernandinho.

It's just rank bad planning I'm afraid.

The big blues on here will get all defensive and come up with excuses but we knew for a year that Aguero was going (largely because the club unfortunately pushed him to leave) and we spent the entire summer waiting for Spurs to phone us.

All the money we've spent and we're glaringly short/empty at Left Back and Striker. I would also argue we're short at centre midfield.

Thank god we've got Pep. Can't imagine is very happy with the transfer team right now.
It's been an absolute shambles, I'm afraid. No point denying it.

Spot on that

just a reminder that last year

Chelsea didnt have Lukaku and started with Lampard as their manager
Liverpool had VVD out most of the season.
Utd didnt have Ronaldo, Sancho or Varane
I'm not saying that other sides haven't strengthened but to read half the posts on here we are going to be lucky to qualify for Europe next year.

It's always a possibility. We're not guaranteed a top 4 spot.

Just to edit before i get any shit: Yeah i think we will finish top 4.

However a club should always strengthen in the summer window because other teams can catch up.
