In the biggest games Zinchenko has had poor games at left back.3 PL titles, 1 FA Cup, 4 EFL Cups.

Community Shield v Liverpool he was poor
CL final v Chelsea he was poor
I know we won two of those games on penalties, but I still would prefer to sign a specialist left back who’s a good defender as well as attacker.

The list was left backs to play for us, Zinchenko is a midfielder but already way better than Mendy at left back, I thought a man who knows left backs would understand that, man, you have disappointed me again.

I’m sure we’ll be fine … but leaving us strikerless going into the season is negligent.
Especially after what Khaldoon said in his interview about replacing Sergio.
Course it’s not just on him, the board had a stinker going all in on that laughable gentleman’s agreement with Kane.

Is this a serious post or just a WUM?Tbh we’re in agreement on most things from what I’ve seen you post in various other threads.
I’m not here for an argument.
I do feel that someone needs to be held seriously accountable for the humiliating and very public shambles of a window we’ve had though. It’s been a catalogue of shit planning and fuckups in full view of our competitors and the world. Be that Txiki, or Ferran, or whoever.
If not resign then some kind of acknowledgement of their failings is needed, and a recalibration of how we conduct ourselves in the transfer market.
It’s linked to the whole obsession with optics our board have. They crave to be loved and not thought of as “moneybags City”. Our PR department are WOEFUL and have been for years.
But you’re right, this is a bigger discussion for another day.

Khaldoon said he was confident in replacing Aguero, all the early noises about Kane was proving him right. Until Levy once again showed the world what an incompetent chairman he is and couldn't get his own deals over the line which meant he couldn't sell Kane.
I don't give a fuck what any hacks in the media said, its pure shite about Levy not picking the phone up. He couldn't replace Kane so couldn't sell him. Simple.

Pep pulled off a miracle last season rotating false 9s. It won’t happen again. Especially when everyone else has improved their attacking options.
We needed a striker, have done for 2 years really. And we don’t have one. We were told X is the price and spent 3 months haggling over a fee that was set at the start and wasn’t there to be negotiated down. But we still did anyway. A Sisyphian exercise in futility & again, at best it’s naive from the board…
