or not learning, more like.Taylor still learning On the job
Very true. Plus, several good corners into the box and no end productToo slow, too ponderous
We need to try and bring in a top class women's coach if we're serious about the CL. Every time we come up against decent opposition we fall short. This team have been going backwards since Nick Cushing left. Don’t rate Gareth Taylor at all. Won’t win the WSL this season. Every bit as poor as the men’s team at corners.
maybe pep will coach them when he steps down, mind you hed still over think the champions league)))We need to try and bring in a top class women's coach if we're serious about the CL. Every time we come up against decent opposition we fall short.
Taylor didn’t really pull up any trees when coaching in the academy either, hence the uplift in performance when he was moved in, but he is apparently a very nice man so that’s what mattersWe need to try and bring in a top class women's coach if we're serious about the CL. That makes no sense given there’s only twenty odd games in a season for the womens team.No big deal having less matches and less travelling, just get on with it.
Yes correct, it was the travelling all over Europe during the Covid crisis that I was thinking about. That makes no sense given there’s only twenty odd games in a season for the womens team.
Fair enough.Yes correct, it was the travelling all over Europe during the Covid crisis that I was thinking about.
No doubt losing Bronze is hurting the balance going forward although Raso was once again excellent - didn't understand taking her off at all. Taylor seems to fall into that old fashioned way of managing having certain favourites. Kennedy should have started this game, she has a big presence and would have been a threat on corners. Beckie too is riding the wave of her gold medal and it was odd to drop her to the bench after a good performance at the weekend. I feel we have a good squad but just an average manager. It isn't an excuse but injuries haven't done us any favours. Having Lucy Bronze in the line up always helps. Moreover the way Chloe Kelly was playing before she did her knee, she was running rampant in the attack.
I feel like Dahlkemper up and leaving late, as she did, hurt us also. She would made a good partner with Steph. Having her would allow Greenwood to play left back, her natural position. A position she is excellent at.
Agree. The player that is most missed is Chloe Kelly - genuine game changer. Keira Walsh seems irreplaceable in midfield. Bunny Shaw looks totally unfit and seems to run through treacle. Caroline Weir needs to start producing consistent quality. Lauren Hemp is becoming the new Raheem Sterling - great runs and no end product. Should have gone for Ebony Salmon as new striker. It isn't an excuse but injuries haven't done us any favours. Having Lucy Bronze in the line up always helps. I know there’s FFS in the men’s game….Our Algerian enigma….Is there FFP in the women's game?
