Leicester (A) - Post-Match Thread

It's happened in 3 of our last 4 title wins, most notably last season.

At some point people are going to notice that we've won a lot of games without conceding many chances, but hopefully by then it'll be too late.
Helps having the strongest central defensive options in Europe (imo)... not to discount Walker by the way, but Dias is the most important find since vinny, he’s turned a good back line into world class in the space of 12 months..

To reinforce the point, I love that we get away with this year on year, the willingness for others to succeed from the media merely takes the pressure off, bunch of thick twats, that win was one of champions and we aren’t even out of 2nd gear!

Big three points. Leicester are a decent side especially early in the season. It's always hard after the international break too. I hate to say it but if Ronaldo had come here we'd probably have walked the league this year. We miss that ruthless first class finishing he would have provided.

Never in doubt...

We are on our way again.

Fucking Ronaldo.....come on man.

Not bad considering we've had no prep time for this game. Nobody stood out as having a great game, but nobody was really poor. Steady six and sevens out of ten for all today. Did anybody watch on Sunsports, the commentator was a right prick all game wanting a second yellow for Laporte, and thinking Iheanacho might have had a claim for a pen when he took a blatant dive, his Co commentator didn't agree

Bernardo was exceptional

Who really gives a fcuk what some commentator says on an illegal stream.

From little I saw (crap streams) it was a hard fought win, which I'm pleased with.

Was it hard fought because we failed to take chances or that Leicester played well?

Bernardo was immense and must stay in this team when KDB and Foden come back in. Still not convinced Torres is the answer, so he seems the obvious candidate to miss out, Probably means we're going to have to play with no nine again, but I can't see this being an issue bearing in mind the quality we have.

big win that....

good performance all around but B.Silva was outstanding...Walker was also very solid again and Gundogan as well

Dias bar the one lapse when he then had to make an excellent recovery block wslso very good and Ederson was v.sharp as well when he needed to be. Jesus worked his arse off as usual

Grealish needs to get more involved in the game and isnt doing enough to keep Foden/KDB out of the game...The one bit of class was that recovery run in the last few minutes ...the miss right at the end one on one with the keeper....you cannot miss those at the top level and he needs to be adding more inthe big games to justify his place in this team. Sterling was also poor when he came on.

Not many teams will go there and take all 3 pts so a huge win especially against a team who previously we have struggled against.
Agree with all of that.
