Everton are utter wank without DCL. This formation doesn’t work at all.
Seen it at the time and just seen again on MOTD. It looked innocuous but terrible outcome that deserved nothing, not even a free kick.
Nobody believes it’s a red card but when an incident happens like this then where do you go?
However, the way the ref handled it was completely wrong, waiting for the VAR to be swayed by the slow motion. PL ref’s have no integrity, they are just pawns who bow to the PL will. Not independent.
It reminded me of Son's red card against Everton, after Gomes' broken leg. The FA rescinded it in the day after. I feel a bit for the ref because he was in a no win situation. He must have felt he had no choice but to send him off because of the severity of the injury.
