Great goal. Some bad bits but always a threat. I like him.
Because most were basing their opinion on his image, alleged character, and off field antics.Very few had invested any meaningful time watching his contributions on the pitch.....hence the bollocks being spouted in the summer. With every week it seems crazier and crazier that some people didn’t want us to sign him.
He has created more goal scoring opportunity than any player in Europe's 5 top leagues.First half he was very wasteful. Many times we got him 1v1 facing up his defender and it produced absolutely nothing. I made a point about him needing to make more impact after the Leicester game and was thinking a similar thing after the first half. Then he scored that great goal second half. That's exactly what we need him to do regularly, his numbers need to improve, both scoring and assisting, he can't just be nice and fancy, goals like that will help him achieve that.

He had a great game, but Pep wasn’t entirely satisfied and gave him a right bollocking at one stage.Fantastic performance. You can tell he was keen to impress but he did exactly what the manager asks of his wingers and it payed off with a very well taken goal. He reminds me of mahrez cutting in - you know he's gonna do it but you can't stop him. Can't wait to see him kdb and foden get more time together.
I missed that at the time but have just seen it. Guess it shows how much I know as I thought mahrez was playing well too and pep bollocked him too! It is good to see your rightHe had a great game, but Pep wasn’t entirely satisfied and gave him a right bollocking at one stage.
I really liked it when Pep did that. It’s sending a message to Jack of the required standard at City, and it looked like Jack took it in good spirits.
Its not a fact though,Grealish brings qualities our others don't have and makes us a better team because of such.I think it's more to do with the fact we have a lot of "similar" players in that part of the pitch.

Finally a balanced, reasoned post - looking at how some Villa fans have acted since the move on twitter & fans forums you could understand him getting annoyed because from where I sit he was loyal (not jumping ship after relegation) and was regularly Villa's best player.Super Jack is class , 1st touch , weight of pass are sublime. When he was at Villa some commentators (Souness) would say he was lazy but they didn’t watch him week in week out.He got us promoted and kept us in the prem in the first 2 seasons. He was all over the park , basically a one man team at times deserves to play at the highest level. UTV
Yes realistically isn’t going to get CL football at Villa Park. It’s a bit annoying that he is now an England starter just because he plays for a Sky 6 team but I suppose Safegate has to pick him if the best manager in the world rates him and was prepared to break the British transfer record. I reckon if Mason Mount played for us he would be nowhere near England squad.UTVFinally a balanced, reasoned post - looking at how some Villa fans have acted since the move on twitter & fans forums you could understand him getting annoyed because from where I sit he was loyal (not jumping ship after relegation) and was regularly Villa's best player.
As City fans we know and get that Jack will always be a Villa fan first but in football terms he needed to move on - it's a short career and already he has now become a starter for England. As seen last night being managed by someone with the intensity and understanding of the game as Pep will only make him better which is a win for us, a win for him and a win for the national side.
