The idiocy (and selfishness) of panic buying

It’s a game to a lot of people, finding where they can get this and that so they can tell their friends they managed to get this and that.

had it in first lockdown with me mum ringing me “have you got enough toilet roll, they’re selling it out of the local bike shop £2 for 4”

It is the media making a small issue into an enormous one
8000 petrol stations and only 100 were out of fuel until the panic buying
Hopefully all the dickheads will have fuelled up by Tuesday as that's when I'll need to tank up
 
At least Petrol can’t be hoarded easily in the same way food could be during last year.

Hopefully after all the sheep have filled up it’ll quieten back down.

I don’t see why a few garages having to close should be publicised anyway.

No it's not. It's people buying petrol when they don't need to. It's just an easy go to to angry people on the internet.
