This is what I am talking about. Bernardo puts in a world class performance and Ronaldo gets player of the month. Even if we don't consider Bernardo for it, what did Man United do in September? They lost to Villa, Barely beat West Ham and beat Newcastle(which pretty soon will starting beating them! lol)Not sure who specifically should have won it, however if I take the two performances that say Bernardo put in against Chelsea and Liverpool, it makes the award going to him astounding if not completely unsurprising..........
This issue is devisive. You would think in this day and age somebody would be able to devise some kind of app which we could install on our devices which would auto correct the mis-spelling of Devises to Devizes.
You didn't go to St James Park a year later in the fa cup I take it.When this great period is over for us I wouldn't mind a successful Newcastle keeping the rags and dippers away from the trophies. Always remember how good their fans were at Wembley 76, happy for them.
And in the 80s, they has some serious idiots and there we some very scary away days. You didn't go to St James Park a year later in the fa cup I take it.
Hell all away grounds were scary in the 80's. This is now 2021. Good luck to the fans. I would rather have our/geordie model than the Rag/burnley one.And in the 80s, they has some serious idiots and there we some very scary away days.
Totally agree, after the years of suffering under Ashley , they can now dream and deserve it.Hell all away grounds were scary in the 80's. This is now 2021. Good luck to the fans. I would rather have our/geordie model than the Rag/burnley one.
Why aren't the press asking how Americans can be allowed to buy a club like Burnley place it under huge debt whilst taking millions of pounds out ?
Or why aren't they asking about Wigan's(i think)takeover that was as dodgy as anything, seemingly all about a betting syndicate cleaning up if they were relegated?Hell all away grounds were scary in the 80's. The Toon is going down with a billion in the bank...Yet from the same outlet
Makes the MUEN like a beacon or reporting
Won't happen! The red tops will already be plotting a scheme to put the kibosh on their progress. Also Prince Charming from Shrek ( aka Simon Jordan ) was quite conciliatory the other day,no mention of Newcastle being a Frankenstein club now and that being profitable they could spend up to £1bn without infringing ffp. My understanding was that this is possible by spending on infrastructure projects ie: stadium upgrade, academy investment etc but ffp still applied to income against outgoings. At present taking into account the clubs profit and accepted losses maybe they will be able to spend £250m rising with their increased revenues but will their sponsorship deals be questioned like ours have by the likes of Jordan?Totally agree, after the years of suffering under Ashley , they can now dream and deserve it.
