City’s best performances between 1990 and 2008 (pre takeover)?

Always loved the away win at Blackburn in 1995. They were league leaders and would go on and win the title but we went there are played them off the park. It was the kind of result and away performance that we just never seemed to pull off during this period. Flitcroft had 2 goals disallowed (one incorrectly) and Rosler hit the bar after chipping Flowers as well.

It was a great result.helped by a very soft penalty decision in our favour...which..never really happened.in those days........
Funny that, cos utd and Blackburn were neck and neck for the title
Blackburn,had to lose that game...

Tbf we had a perfectly good goal disallowed as well. Flitcroft was offside for his first but his second seemed perfectly fine.

the 3-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday in 92 stands out it was at a time Wednesday had Waddle and Hirst and Coton was competing with Chris Woods for England No1

Aside from the two 4-0 victories over Leeds in the early 90s, the 5-2 over Spurs, and the 5-1 at Villa Park, there were also a few others where we rode our luck.

However, one game that I don't think anybody's mentioned is the 2-1 at Elland Road circa September 2001. Wanchope had one of the best games I've ever witnessed from a City player.
