I dont even feel Sterling deserves a place on the Bench at this moment in time.

Good 3 points, final 3rd was a bit whiffy should have scored more. All front 3 were pretty poor, Silva motm again player of the season to follow. Ake did okay at left back and Steffen is far too good to be a sub keeper.

Hopefully gabby and Grealish will be back in the team soon, think we need to play KDB as a false 9/free role he hasn’t got the legs to play deeper

Sterling and Mahrez were really poor today and have been for some time. I can’t see how any of the kids could be any worse. Also, the elephant in the room for me is KDB. Phenomenal goal, but ordinary performance. He’s been well down on fork for a while now dating back into last season. Thought Ake did a tidy job at LB. stones solid and Steffens some good saves. Silva clear MoM.

Low key performance but the result is what matters....

Lots of changes so it was going to disrupt the rhythm of the team and it showed in the pace at which we played.

B.Silva, Rodri and Stones were excellent...Steffan didnt do much wrong but the difference with his kicking and Edersons is clear.and its not that Steffans is bad ...its decent but Edersons makes a differnce.
Cancello good in the first half but struggled in the second.

Makrez was very very poor.....no wonder he hasnt been starting

Kdb - still way off the pace....his form is worrying.

Mahrez showing his FFS form again. Sterling was marginally better when he switched to out wide and other than his goal Kev wasn't up to scratch again today. Thank goodness for Bernie (& Steffen). Not a game I'm planning on rewatching but happy with the 3 points.

Agree on Ake.His passing today was tidy and reliable,didn't give the ball away much,if at all.Steady Eddie player.

Pep's got 2 players who are massively out of form, and 1, KDB, who's not awful but a shadow of his best. They're only going to get back in form on the pitch.

It's not mind games, it's not complicated, it's the exact same approach he took to Bernardo Silva, Stones, Walker, Gundogan and anyone else who's lost form.

He's been doing this for 6 years now.

So the moral is play shit and still play, unless my memory is wrong silva and stones weren’t treated like this they got dropped a lot.

Nice for the youngsters don’t worry lads it doesn’t matter how well or willing you are a few soul destroying minutes is the best you can hope for.

I though Mahrez missed some sitters today.

A win's a win though, so a good night for us Blues.

Good to see Stones back and he played well.

Harder than it should have been, but three points is three points. Woeful finishing again, some sloppy play giving Burnley a sniff at times. I think Mahrez and Sterling's time here is done. Two bigger, pacy direct forwards would do who aren't 10 stone wet through.

Generally agree.

Sterling did not get much service. There seems a change in the pattern of play with an emphasis on crosses in the box a la scouse.

Agreed something is not right.

Should have been easier but have seen us fail to win games like that on plenty of occasions in the past.
Winning ugly with several second stringers and no striker is a sign of a very good team.

Splendid afternoon, City win and Utd get thumped at Leicester, great to see CR7 continuing to have such a positive impact since his arrival.
Silva was great again.
Raz poor again.
Good save from Stefan in the 1st half and a clean sheet for him...well done.

Your memory is wrong. Bernardo played near enough 100 games between being at his best.

The youngsters know that Mahrez and Sterling are levels above them. The know them, they see them every day and they're not deluded enough to think they're better at 18 after a couple of impressive cameos against lower league sides.

It's absolutely mind-numbing that the same clowns who spent years whining about Foden not playing enough are now going to do the same routine over Palmer.

Decent result, but a pretty sloppy performance overall. I thought Sterling and Mahrez were absolutely dreadful. Sterling especially needs to learn that he is on the pitch to add pace to our attacks, not slow them down or kill them dead. The most entertaining part of the match was the celebration as Leicester went ahead.

I thought Bernardo was excellent. Foden also put in a strong performance, but his efforts were let down by some atrocious finishing from the players around him. We arrived in their box repeatedly and carved out some really good opportunities. It’s just a shame that our conversion rate is amongst the worst in the league.

our conversion rate is 8.4% ,top is everton with 12.6 , we are 8th for conversion, without a top cf(which a team as good as us should have) that isnt too bad.
