Its not rocket science, look at Arsenal since they swapped CL money for Thursday money.

One of the few accurate obsetvations you have made. The distorting factor in all this is the CL money which us why the American owned clubs are abusing their political strength to prevent other clubs getting it.

If they were really interested in financial fair play and a level playing field they would be looking at ways of more evenly distributing the CL money through the competition from which they qualified, in our case, the PL. That, of course, will never happen.

He's released a statement saying this could be his last job as the amount of abused he's received being Newcastle manager has really affected him and his family. He's really ripped into the supporters
poor guy I hope the money he got will help him, thoughts and prayers

Found it. Must be rough to receive that level of abuse from the supporters of the club you supported as a kid. It’s his club ffs.

Sad it happened but he is well set and won't need to ever work again ( though is nailed on he will be a regular on Sky).
There are many many others in a much worse position through no fault if their in (unlike him) so tears shed here im afraid!

I once met Bruce on a hospitality thing before a derby at O.T. He was a gentleman tbh even though he knew I was a blue. I’ve sort of quite liked him ever since.

I’m sure he’ll get another job and not have to worry about paying the mortgage.

£8mill!

Time to fly off to warmer climates and enjoy the sunset every night, Steve.

Who needs to put up with the endless abuse the self entitled best supporters in the world gave him constantly.

Met him a few years back, seemed to be a really nice guy

I guess he's done an OK job keeping them up, but the mainstream pundits have been exceptionally soft on Bruce, so much so I think he'll probably get another Prem job now, whereas pre Newcastle he was long gone and in the championship for years. Unless he retires of course.
Give it another couple of weeks and he’ll probably be managing Watford

Several of his tenants were recently hospitalised because of mould he didn't deal with in the properties he rents out. He evicted a mum and 2 kids when they complained publicly about it.

He was a massive twat at Sheffield United. Took the job, then said he needed a holiday to recover from surgeries he had before taking the job, then after 6 weeks paid holiday managed a dozen games and quit to manage Newcastle.

He quite regularly tries to pick out individual local reporters to attack them for reporting things which turn out to be true.

I don't think he's a nice man, although I've not met him.
