@Bigga
I simply don't understand your politics.

For personal clarification please rate on a scale of 1 to 10 - 10 being most desirable - 1 being worst possible, the following politicians if somehow or other they were brought to power in the USA:

A) Joe Rogan
B) Pol Pot
C) Bernie Sanders
D) Idi Amin
E) Kim Jong Un
F) Al Gore
G) Adolph Hitler
H) Mike Pence
I) Ronald Reagan
J) Joe Biden
K) Donald Trump
L) Kamila Harris
M) Ted Cruz
N) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

What a silly little game.

You should concentrate on the strikes you and the MSM are ignoring.

What's your opinion on actual news?

Wow, even removing the dictators his answers to this are amazing.

@Dax777 RE historical leader ratings...

Interesting - it seems that you're a conservative, rating Regan a 6 and Pence and Cruz a 5 with no higher ratings.

I'm now liberal but I embrace capitalism - I'd rate Regan a 6 as well, Pence maybe 3 or 4 (Pence strikes me as a rather spineless creature all too willing to go along with Trump except in extremis) - and Cruz - well a solid 3 (politics above all else).
===
Surely some politicians - present or historical - rate higher than a 6. Who might they be?

Here's a question for those who follow US politics.

Which US politician is most likely to help propel Democrats to victory in the 2022 midterm elections?

You've one guess. No cheating!

Thank God that Trump is both massively divisive and a delusional egomaniac. The later compels him to propagate the Big Lie - that the 2020 election was stolen from him due to mass voter fraud - and hence, that Republicans ought to protest by not voting in upcoming elections.

Is that aimed at me?

Is my asking of what he thinks of strikes happening at pace less important than his dumb hypothetical questions?

He ignored offering thoughts on working class strikes, btw.

I should be bemused, but I'm not as it's a typical response by the same sort of poster who thinks in similar terms.

Not sure if this is necessarily the right thread but this four hours at the capitol thing on BBC2 is terrifying.
Watched it and felt outraged all over again. More so by the fact the documentary it seemed that those that took the footage and incriminated themselves in so doing, were being given the platform to say how right they were for doing so.
Two things struck me about America that day;
1. It looked no better than a banana republic on that day and has no right to lecture other fundamentalist states.
If they had managed to occupy and hold the senate rest assured Trump would have said they had lost control and declared martial law and you would have ended up in a very Putin like situation regarding getting rid of him. That’s serious shit. How was it facilitated?

2.I don’t believe for a second that a black or Hispanic or any non-white mob would have been allowed anywhere near The Capital. They would have been dealt with severely and there would have been many more deaths.

How the hell was Trump not impeached. In a country with only two parties to choose from one side, whether they are any morally worse than the other or not, are as fundamentally bat shit whacko in their beliefs as any Middle Eastern Muslim states. Just depends on your perspective.

How many people actually died ?

how would those of minority in numbers been treated ?

Would they have been treated the same as those advocating BLM were treated when they went on the violent rampage of property destruction and looting in the years and months and days leading up to Jan 6.

I know of one female who was shot dead by a police officer but if you know of any more other than the drug overdose self inflicted and 3 from natural causes I am happy for you to provide detail.

I do know that the ABC here in Australia paid a reporter who had access to a weapon that could be used to kill to pass it on to anybody interested and took film inside the event when the initial rush commenced and tempers were somewhat flared but the offer was never taken up.

As far as I know the gathering consisted of people from a number of races , colours and creeds.

BTW approx 30 per cent of those Hispanics , ( 12 per cent African American ), and 30 per cent non-while " mob " as you refer to them as that voted in the election voted for Trump who increased his vote amongst those groups from 2016 and across most states including some of those that landed Blue.

White females and a shift in white males across states that turned blue and an increase in the overall vote cost the Republicans dearly albeit nothing like the election landslides of 1980 and 1984 when in California Red was the colour to be unfortunately.

your analogy comparing American voters to the Middle East is both disturbing and dangerous AND of course to use one of your lines utter bat shit.

many of those persecuted in these regimes flee to the US to live a better life and those that make it by and large enrich their lives no matter if the country is red or blue.

as for point 1 (LOL) , Trump left without a whimper and is all hype and BS in the main when it comes to these things and would have and as more and more intelligent people from both sides of the fence are concluding a thing of the past in political terms.

Even for you that is a terrible post and you have a long track record of terrible posts.

You're nothing more than an apologist for the actions of a group of people attempting a coup led by a soundly defeated presidential candidate. By comparing them to protestors around the country who in most cases have legitimate grievances even if they are going about it in the wrong way, you are legitimising their actions.

If what you said is true about ABC then someone should be arrested and charged with a serious crime. I'm calling bullshit on that one.

Bible in one hand and rifle in the other or Koran in one hand and arm elite in the other.
The optics aren’t much different to me no matter how the west or east like to find themselves morally superior.
That’s not condoning any regime whatsoever. I just don’t buy the holier than thou attitude that comes out of the Republican side in particular and don’t accept the looking down the nose attitude towards anyone who doesn’t believe what they do.

As the questions were addressed to another poster I would prefer he or she respond if they decide to addressing some of the issues raised but as you have decided once again to put your two cents worth in westy lets break down your response line by line.

Line one just your usual virtue signalling nothing again other than you can spell terrible correctly and allege you read my posts which by the way you have said in the past you don't but assuming you have once again you don't understand the point I am making.

I am not apologising for anything take took place on Jan 6 in fact I only ask about the death toll and cause of death to be clarified.

I am not legitimising their actions westy wrong again read what I posted and read it word for word.

Was Trump at the head of the queue westy and can you repeat what he actually said to stir up the hornets nest?

its high time you attributed everything bad that happened during 2016 to 2020 in the US as Trumps fault , its factually incorrect and giving him far too much kudos.

Are you blaming Joe for the 530k deaths this year from Covid at his doorstep with three vaccines developed under Trumps Administration anymore than Trump for the 220k deaths that occurred in Trumps last year in office at US President?

Name me one legitimate grievance that warrants a Marxist movement that says you Westy shouldn't own any property in a democracy the legitimacy to burn your house down Westy?

I made no comparison to BLM at all if you read word for word what I posted.

I should mention or allude you to the fact that CNN reporters were watching the destruction and said nothing other than BLM is protesting against " Racism ".

I posted about the relative criminal and judiciary responses Westy but your blindness and dislike for anything I post on this thread led you once again to a false generalisation and the wrong conclusion as a result.

Watch the ABC ( Australian footage ) and you won't conclude it BS but who knows with you Westy , you probably think it was Trump in disguise having received the funds to by the weapon from Putin sent personally to him in the mail.

Have you forgotten the Hilary still believes the Russians supported by Fox News cost her the 2016 election (LOL).

I thought you were dead against and outraged at terrorists and terrorist activity and the persecuted and those left the right to escape for their own safety to safer havens.

Perhaps I was mistaken Westy when it comes to you as the answer is dependant on who the terrorists are and who they are attacking.

See how you chew on that lot westy and get back to me on legitimacy if you actually know what the word means and if you don't google some synonyms that you can relate to.

Again what were the BLM protesting peacefully against according to the MSM?

No idea what has to do with the assertions you make and my comments but if you were outraged be outraged at all forms of violence or attacks on liberty without the need to label.

their are nutters and extremists throughout the political wheel of fortune.

Can you translate the last sentence in English thank you.
