So say an average shirt sells into the market for £30 and United get 20% that's £6 a shirt.
To get anywhere near £850K a week they would have to sell over 7 million shirts annually.

No club gets a percentage on shirts as far as I know. The club will negotiate with a brand for how many years at a fixed price. You could sign 10 Messi's after a shirt agreement, you'd still get the same money wise. The only time it would change is when you negotiate another deal when the contract is finished. Also, the people buying shirts with the latest shiny name on the back would be buying a shirt anyway. The likes of Messi would probably cost a club shop money in the long run for using less letters.
 
It’s not as though Ole can turn to youth… they got stuffed 6-0 at weekend… so the LVG get out jail ‘Rashford’ card doesn’t exist.

A new manager would, if given full control, bench Ronaldo, Pogba and Fernandes… so , god knows what manager they’ll be able to get, when they’ll never get that control wrested from the player contracts/PR wonks.

Conte, Zidane et al, no chance.
Potter, Howe et al- would be insane to take the ‘big one’ and compromise.

Can't stand the fucker and didn't want him here. However........I'm not sure we can say he'd be playing the same in our team. Would definitely not be a starter, but fuck me he'd be banging them in off the bench.

That said, still wouldn't want the preening twat here. I couldn't even think what I'd be doing down in 111 if he scored then done that fucking ridiculous goal celebration in front of the stand.
