He has always said this…move the ball, and the opponent has to move!

This is why we play so many passes back and forth between players, as if the two of them are playing keep away! Make them come, then play around them into the space they created for you. As the ball gets moved, so players move into THEIR space, receive it, keep it moving.

Lather, rinse, repeat!

People call this tiki taka, but it’s really conserving your energy while shagging the opposition, then killing them with the ball into the space THEY just created FOR YOU!

It is demoralizing as a player to be on the receiving end of it.

AND I LOVED WATCHING IT SUCK OUT WHAT LITTLE LIFE THEY HAD IN THEM TODAY!!! ;-)

Rubbish!! All that domination but only winning by two goals. And being kept in for 25 minutes to goad the bastards and insult Paul Scholes. An the post-match traffic was fucking awful.
But we won with an own goal and a tap-in so the gnome should be safe for a while. I doubt he'll last the "five more years" the fans were demanding, but every little helps.
Being serious; De Donut Thief made several great saves in the first half otherwise it would have been more than the five the dippers managed. And the second half was so one-sided it was unbelievable: Absolute total control by City with Ederson having approximately sod all to do.
Were they shite or were we just too good? Yes to both. The only pity was that we didn't totally humiliate them again in terms of the scoreline. But anybody who watched will know we are superior in every department. I'm sure MOTD will tell a different story, but the truth is out there.
One further point - Over half a million a week for a 37 year old who can jump quite high. Surely some mistake.
