Interestingly Rodri's being just as effective at shutting the opposition in and stopping any counter attacks with Bernardo playing high and wide as he has been with Bernardo playing next to him in the big games.

If the team ahead of Rodri works hard then he does his thing regardless of who's nearby.

As I always say… Sterling is a chance creating machine.. because of his movement.. that goal sums him up pointing exactly where he wanted it and timing his run to perfection. He’s better at anyone at that. And I do mean anyone.

I’m scoffing a massive slice of humble pie after my criticism of Raz. That was some finish of the wonder ball by Cancelo. If that doesn’t boost his confidence, nothing will.

Ref will be looking to ‘even it up’ in the second half. Fully expecting another yellow for Eric to get them back into it. This is the only threat they have now…the officials.

Palmer has been great, movement and composure on the ball is lovely to watch.

Everton clearly came with their bus, let’s just keep the ball and make them run around. 3 points is all that matters.
