That performance underlines just how far we have ascended as a team - key players out but every player out there knew their job, where to be on the pitch and showed the personality and belief to stand and face PSG and say “we are better than you”

It now doesn’t matter who out of our top 17/18 players play - the style and pattern of play is unchanged.

Pep must be buzzing at the levels this team and squad are reaching.

Ala KDB, Bernardo produced an outstanding performance but still found the energy to be the hardest working player on the pitch.
 
What a football team, what a manager and what a great bunch of supporters , the detractors can keep on with their agenda but we know what we are witnessing , near football perfection in front of the most loyal fans in the land , you know why the haters hate because of what this football club is evolving into , never a better time to be a blue.

I've been going to City since 1972 and seen lots of great players and a couple of great teams. But somehow I just love this team and squad - in part I think because they're not selfish as Gabriel said in his interview, in part because they all just seem to be nice guys but mainly I think because of the genius of Pep and the way you can see players blossoming before your very eyes....there's so many who have improved like Càncelo, Mahrez, Walker, Rodri but at the heart if it all is our beating heart, Bernardo. The football is just fantastic.
Obviously Mendy is excluded
Everyone is playing their part, Càncelo looks like Cruyff, Gabriel has scored 2 huge winners already, Raheem comes back in with 2 crucial goals in 3 days, Ilkay and Rodri ran that midfield etc
And yes I know I was one of the fans giving the team a right slagging after West Brom last year!!!!!!!
Couple of decent lads soon ready to compete again for places..... only about worth £300 mill!!!!
 
Brilliant team performance that clearly lacked any ruthlessness upfront in the first half. Should have been 3/4 up first half, Its an issue.

Have to admire how the whole team gets up for these big games now, there's an extra level of intensity that we can't do every single game but it's there when we need it against quality opposition, everybody fighting for each, its fantastic team spirit. Pep will be buzzing with that and that's the kind of performance that can lead to the start of a nice winning run. Hopefully we have a few more attacking options come Sunday as a fair few but in a hell of a shift.
