Saw that West Ham are interested in Ake and Zouma looks to have gotten injured now for them. Reckon we’d sell if the price is right in Jan?

If true probably should sell if we can keep Laporte.

We have 3 top CBs and even though Laporte is 3rd on that list for me, Pep has been rotating pretty heavily so he doesn't really have a right to complain.

A youth player can be our 4th choice anyways, or a loanee coming back next season like Doyle.

Going down to 3 centre backs and 3 fullbacks for the second half of the season would be suicidal. Never in a million years will we let him go in January without bringing in an established replacement, or two.

In a 2 CB system, it's difficult to keep the 4th choice happy.

It really isn't that suicidal, CBs hardly need rest, a 4th choice academy prospect is pretty normal procedure.

It only bad luck that will put us on situation of 2 main CB injured for long term and only have one main cb as replacement without a decent backup. We will get f*cked if we do get into that situation, so 4 CB is still must with amount of game we have and can't foreseen unfortunate sudden injury.

This would be…strange. Alisson is the same age as Ederson. Bazunu would be no closer to first team football, aside from perhaps some cup games given Steffen’s status as first backup.
