Not sure you have to clutch at straws, one of the most transparent quotes from the fat fuck I’ve seen.

No decision has been made and he just trying to make every suitor worried they are playing catch up.

We will listen to the market, I’ve no doubt you will.

Us, PSG, Real with an outside chance of Chelsea. No-one else will be in the running.
We won’t play his games. If Haaland and Raiola go to the market for an open auction, you can guarantee we won’t be taking part.

Who else wants/can attract Haaland?

seems nailed on madrid are getting mbappe on a free
barca are looking down the back of the sofa for change to buy torres
chelsea have plenty up front
united are shit
liverpool - dont see it

maybe Munich - but they’re also hard up

PSG? surely he’d like to come to city, with his connection to the club and how fucking brilliant we are

I wouldn't write off:

  1. Madrid - they have the cash, prestige, competitive quality and may fancy building out Galacticos 3.0
  2. Rags - if they secure top 4, and they'd be willing to pay up.
  3. Chelsea - existing striking options haven't worked out, and they're always full of financial surprises.
  4. Dippers - current style of play is arguably the closest fit to BVB / Haaland, not much gelling to be done.
Still, all the above PL teams come with more showstoppers than the positives they've got going for them. Madrid I see as the main threat but none have as many draws as we do. On a pure pros and cons basis, EH shouldn't be looking anywhere but City. Just don't write off others.

It’s more likely that he stays at Dortmund for another season than that he goes now to Madrid. This isn’t just me saying it, it’s every well informed Madrid fan and all the signs coming out of Madrid through their media. But in this forum people haven’t yet caught up. In Spain, they basically only talk about Haaland in relation to Barcelona (lol)
Liverpool wouldn’t afford it

We very very rarely get players who are involved in a multi club auction and I’m sceptical that this one will be any different.
I’m aware it’s a fixed fee he will go for but it’s the rest that’s a concern. Depending on who’s asking for their brucie bonus ie agent, dad etc and how much they want it could feasible be another we walk away from.

Which will fucking smart more than all of the previous ones we’ve backed off from in the past.

Anyone want a dose of hopium?

Per @tolmie's hairdoo, we want a deal done in January with a pre-agreement for a summer move.

Unlike Pogba at Utd, Erling is settled and happy at Dortmund. There's no reason for Mino to be touting him around mid-season if there's no major push for a new contract and no deal to be done until Summer. It's just damaging this early. But...

What if Mino's puffing his chest out in the media because there's a deal to be done and announced in January?

No other prem teams mentioned as big clubs that's got to hurt history club fc

Meanwhile, Raiola also detailed the arguments that favour the exciting striker leaving BVB for a new club.

“He is someone who wants to develop, who is looking for new challenges. And of course it is also a question of the alternative. You only switch when you have a better alternative,” he stressed.

“I don’t know [if a player like Haaland can pick his next club]. We have to look. It’s going to be a very strange summer. We play football for a month and a half, then everything stops and we go to Qatar for the World Cup. That is strange.”

When asked if he will hold talks with BVB in the winter to discuss Haaland’s future, Raiola said: We always did it that way. We will tell BVB what our idea is and BVB will tell us their ideas. But no decision will be made in winter.
