To be fair to Razza he has tried to get jabbed but he just keeps missing his appointmentHere we go again…
Premier League holding a meeting on Monday to discuss pausing the season.
Fucking joke.
Maybe more players should be vaccinated eh. Thick selfish twats.
bang on they are down without a doubt. What player worth their salt is going there in January? They’re getting relegated.
I’m surprised footballers are known for being quite intelligent.About 2% - 3% of people in the age categories concerned suffer some form of long covid, something that is worse without a vaccine. At best that impacts your season, as we have seen with our own players, at worse that impacts your career. Very silly risk to take given the miracles of modern science have produced a safe jab that mitigates that, even sillier to trust what you read online against the advice of your own club doctors.
Comma or no comma? Both make sense but a comma changes the meaning entirely. ;-)I’m surprised, footballers are known for being quite intelligent.
Hope she feels better soon.Excuse the crap Craig David impression here, but my wife met up with some mates in town on Saturday. One of them started feeling naff and tested positive on Sunday. My wife then felt a bit off on Monday night before waking up ropey on Tuesday. She had an LFT on Tuesday morning. Negative. She did another later Tuesday evening and that was positive and then it was confirmed via PCR on Wednesday that she has it.
We think she's been Omicron'd as it's all throat based. Her smell and taste is fine, as is her breathing really. She's dead bunged up and has a really, really sore throat. She's basically lost her voice too. She's exhausted and a bit brain foggy.
Weirdly though, nowt for me so far. Loads of negative lft tests and one negative PCR. I'm fine today too. Though I have had a banging headache for a couple of days. A pressure one on one side. I'm convinced I've got it really, really mild but all the tests say nope.
We've not bothered separating so there's no way I've avoided it. Shared the same sofa in the evenings/bed at night etc. Baffles me how I've either not got it or it doesn't pick up. Especially given its almost certainly Omicron and we're both 'only' double jabbed so you think id have it too. Maybe I will and it's just coming on slowly or sumat.
Still extremely unlikely to snuff it though aren’t they?
I get the impression that lateral flow tests don't work.been feeling pretty rough that past week, not bed ridden but strange symptoms, bit of a cold, the trots, arching arms for a night weirdly, extreme fatigue and headaches. But tested negative on LFT for five days. I'm triple jabbed so wondered if being so renders your symptoms to be mild so you don't test positive on LFT?. I know a couple of people who have had similar symptoms and have been testing negative one with random positive tests.
Don't LFTs work from how much virus your shedding? Could be you have it (symptoms suggest so) but not infectious, would do a PCR if I were in you.been feeling pretty rough that past week, not bed ridden but strange symptoms, bit of a cold, the trots, arching arms for a night weirdly, extreme fatigue and headaches. Last 2 / 3 days ive been absolutely wiped out. Bit of a cold but just constantly feel like i could crawl into bed and sleep for days. I've tested negative, now triple jabbed but defo something not quite right with me.been feeling pretty rough that past week, not bed ridden but strange symptoms, bit of a cold, the trots, arching arms for a night weirdly, extreme fatigue and headaches. Anyone with a brain should really get the Vaccine. It just shows how many fuckin Empytheads we have walking among us.at under 30, about 1 in 20k chance of dying of Covid, 1 in 250k of Dying from the vaccine.
I cant find exact odd of being hospitalised but under 18's but they a seem to be about 3% of hospitalisation. so not the smallest risk really.
Odds of hospitalisation from the vaccines is about 1 in 100k.
Anyone playing the percentage game properly will get the vaccine hands down.
Peter Kay might write it into his next series of Car Share.ive had a few close calls and some shall we say minor impacts, but nothing on that scale. hahah. That story is like a comedy sketch.
It's all well and good people quoting 99%+ survival rates from Covid. Rabies has the highest mortality rate on earth with a less than 1% survival rate but hardly any fucker gets it in developed countries and the last recorded case in the UK that originated in the UK was 119 years ago. Contrast with Covid where there have been around 11 million confirmed cases in the UK in less than 2 years and it's likely that it's getting on for twice that many. 99% survival rates are great for viruses that hardly anyone catches but catastrophic when every man and his dog is catching it. If these fuckwits were put in a building with 1000 other people and told that 10 of them wouldn't be getting out alive but no-one knew who those 10 people are going to be, I bet they wouldn't be quite so flippant about it as they are about Covid.Anyone with a brain should really get the Vaccine. Back in July,my wife and daughter both tested positive and was ill with it for about a week.Hope she feels better soon.
I was in a house of 4 for a weekend October of 2020. They all got Covid within just a few days of each other, but I didn't. I did a test when their results were known but mine was negative.
Yeah, I was sure mine would be positive. I even thought I had it but was showing no symptoms, but not even that.Back in July,my wife and daughter both tested positive and was ill with it for about a week.
I done a LFT as obviously we all in the same house, and in regular contact.
Test was negative......couple of days later I went to the Etihad for a PCR,which also came back negative......bizarre.
I get the impression that lateral flow tests don't work.
Admittedly this is based on the experience of my sister-in-law who tested negative about four days in succession and then got a PCR which returned positive. I've read similar stories elsewhere.
PCR seems to be the only way to be sure - either that or take off and nuke it from orbit.
I think that a certain percentage of those following the "we'll just check we're OK with a LFT before we go to the party" may fall foul of this.
Many will fall foul.I get the impression that lateral flow tests don't work.

It is very rare I believe but a relative of mine died from rabies in the UK (Scotland specifically) about 20 years ago. He worked with bats and got it from them I believe. It's all well and good people quoting 99%+ survival rates from Covid. I'm starting to think the emtyheads in this country are now in the majority..Anyone with a brain should really get the Vaccine. It just shows how many fuckin Empytheads we have walking among us.
