You could have showed any old QR code. For anything. Literally anything, my nephew showed a QR code from Parrs Wood cinema for Spiderman a couple of days before
He was exempt anyway due to age but recorded it for ‘blagz’

Took the council three years to work out the sudden upsurge in library membership, they had been patting themselves on the back for increasing literacy

On the other hand, Chelsea away earlier this year was strict, even properly checked LFT results from two U18s with us

All’s well then. I got there early today to avoid idiots. I got asked to show my pass to some random bloke in a high viz and then “searched” before entry.

But N1 there were 3 people in pink hi viz & a giant lolly pop stick, that said, covid spot checks. But didn't see them check anyone

U18s don’t need to show a negative LFT do they mate?

I had my screen shot pass ready ,and must of scrolled to the next photo of me burning the Xmas wrapping paper ,good job no one checked, last match my lad accidentally showed his qr code to get into Malta that passed ok ,it's better than nothing the passports but pretty pointless scanning without proving your ID,don't see any problems if you have had the jab just holding your phone up

We were checked at E, a line of them checking everyone’s pass, then onto the body scan. No queue to speak of, in fact it’s been better this year than normal. I did see the ‘spot check’ lollipop group of about 20 of them, not sure if they were just getting started or had had enough for the day! It was about 2.15.

At C we just had a stewards asking to see the pass or -ve test result text or email.
I showed the test result text but I don't know how closely she read it. Might show yesterday's text at the next game to test things. - I've also got the email result and Covid pass as I can't remember whether I ticked pass or text/email when completing the questionnaire.

We were correctly checked on our way in so I had assumed every queue was being handled correctly. I noticed that virtually no one was wearing masks.
Two things, firstly the club has to put this right if we want to continue attending. Checks are a legal obligation and so is the mask issue. If we want 500 at our games, some time soon we'll get it.
Secondly, we the fans need to take it seriously. I don't want to sit next to someone who has blagged in with a cinema code, rubbing his hands and sniggering. I'm selfish, I'm recovering from a serious illness and my immune system is affected, I want to know the people next to me are taking the issue seriously as well.
Think of the families whose names were posted on the screen and and ribbon yesterday, do you want to be responsible for adding a name to that list next year.

There is no obligation to wear a mask so that is why over 99% of people weren't wearing one.

I'm triple jabbed and had my pass ready to show but no-one entering via N1 (where I was directed to instead of the usual M1) was checked. People were trying to show stewards their passes but they weren't interested. There were a number of people holding Covid Spot Check signs doing fuck all though.

I think there must be ‘training issues’ if they didn’t know kids were exempt and also didn’t know what they were looking at
