Leicester City (H) - Post-Match Thread

Tells a story, Ian Wright on MOTD, when it went 4-3, “the office was going mad” are we paranoid about the alleged BBC bias? Are we fuck, that one comment tells you all you need to know.

I’m pretty sure any neutral watching the game would have been going mad because, from a neutral point of view, it must have been exciting to watch a comeback like that.

Nothing to see here.

There a lot of BBC bias to see, it was a microcosm of the constant daily bullshit we get from that twatish organisation.

In Salford the BBC? Are you really sure? Ffs, it’s more red than Putin’s red socks.
No, I'm guessing that Wright was in the office with Lineker and Shearer doing their prep and when Leicester came back to 4-3 they got giddy.

Let's not mistake my comment for anything other than an opinion on this one off incident. The BBC sports cunts are a disgrace and everybody should cancel their licence fees and constantly let them know how cunty the whole lot of media City are.

Of all the twattishness at the BBC we don’t need to use this as an example. There isn’t a football fan on earth that wouldn’t get excited to see a team come back from 4-0 to 4-3, especially away at the champions.

I get that but the BBC office would be going mad when any team scores against us, if the Rags or Dippers were in our position no way would the Office be going mad, they would be looking for excuses.

Although Leicester scored a couple of breakaway goals if we had Rodri & Walker in the side they probably would have been prevented and we would be looking at a 6-1 win , really not concerned because when we have our strongest first choice eleven we are defensively very secure
Our pressing for the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half was none existent, which only goes to show against a team which has creative players in this Premier league you will be punished ,when Foden came on the press returned an we steadied the ship . Quite sure Pep will have run the riot act after that game and the players told in no uncertain terms that we play and press for ninety minutes.

I think it was a good wake-up call, a couple of tricky games ahead and Chelsea mid January, it might have been a useful reminder as it has been too easy recently, mind you we did score six.

in all my time as a football fan no pundit as ever made a good coach or manager and its the reason they talk shit and get well paid for it. they no nothing about the game other than to hold a debate just like you and me down the pub

they say talk is cheap well not at the BBC or skysports ? money for old rope

And they'd be wrong to do so.

If we win the PL this season, that'll be four titles out of the last five. Whether we acknowledge it or not, from the outside looking in we're the big beast now, and we look that way because we are.

Most folk, other than ourselves, would root for a Leicester comeback when it went to 4-3, regardless of agendas and motives, because when you're top, and more often than not we are, you're there to be knocked off. Leicester aren't Liverpool, Utd or Chelsea, Leicester are somewhere at the top of the also rans, if they'd beaten us yesterday they would've been labelled giant killers, because they would, metaphorically, have killed a giant, the giant that is Manchester City.

City had their feet up by the fire at half time, you cannot do that at this level.. It’s nice to have that kind of wake up call and still bang 6 in and take all 3 points.. You can rest assured that second half brain fart won’t happen again this season ..

I enjoy the media's bias against us I know it comes from desperation and anger that a City title winning season makes them less money than a United or a liverpool title winning season and they really dont like that. And I think that's funny.

In a nation of underdog lovers, would you honestly expect the majority to root for you? Yesterday, when it got to 4-3, every neutral was always likely to root for Leicester.

Price of success. Embrace it, don’t look for validation from non-fans.
To be honest, I had my head in my hands but it put the edge back into the crowd and it was an enjoyable game, always is when it's closer and you have points on the line.
