Love it......
I'd react like that if an opposition player done that in front of me.
Love it......
There were empty seats everywhere and was like a library. Song one song all game. They are bitter tonight. We walked back to the station with loads of them , they didn’t stop moaning all the way , told them I won the bingo with the amount of shit they were spouting about City. Had it all from oil money to empty seats this after coming from a stadium with half the 3rd tier empty . Wankers !!!
Arsenal are a megabucks club - 7 shots at home to the opponents 15, 29 per cent possession, half as many goals. Does that sound like a megabucks club playing well ?Just a load of bitter noise.
It was a sending off.
It was a penalty.
Arse played well, but that doesn't mean correct decisions don't apply.
Oh and BT are a disgrace and Arse fans are pathetic.
It’s the same with the Saka offside, the linesman let’s it play for bar to make a decision when he was clearly a mile off, that’s the 1 time I thought Keown made a valid point….he said what if a player gets injured when the linesman should have flagged but didn’t.ive dipped into aftv and ‘lee’ is clipped up saying theirs was a ‘clear penalty’ and the presenter agreeing.
id say either way it was given you stay with the on field decision - its not clear from any angle really without getting out the high speed slow mo camera.
we seem to be slipping back into the mindset of VAR being used to re-referee the game no matter how long the stoppages take.
There really needs to be a change back to what i thought was happening in the Euros where only clangers got overturned - both for offsides and fouls and the refs and linesman should be told that they need to get it right on the pitch and not wait for VAR to make the decision.
For starters theres still way way too many penalties.
I'd be angry and hurling expletives .... not sure I'd start lobbing stuff on the pitch though.I'd react like that if an opposition player done that in front of me.
I mean punters not pundits/media. As a football fan in the days when we had no chance of winning anything I wanted the league to be competitive. Clearly I never wanted United to win it but I wanted to be able to watch matches and take in an interest in them because the title was on the line rather than one team running away with it. It will be the same for many football fans now - they know their team can't win, so they want to watch the top three/four play one another knowing the result makes a difference to the final table. If we win it by March then it becomes about finishing fourth and that doesn't really stir the emotions.Fair enough? Really? When the tramps romped it that year the press had a season long wankathon about it.
We do it and we are making it boring. We shouldn't be shocked anymore but it still fucks me off.
We could be on the verge of doing back to back title twice in 5 years.
Trying to get United into the CL, obviously!Obviously the Premier League and VAR have conspired with the referee to hand us the win, because we all know what the Premier League want is for us to run away with the league.
Arsenal have launched an investigation after a Tesco sausage roll was thrown at the celebrating Manchester City players after Rodri’s late winner. If found the club vowed to ban the culprit and send him on a Waitrose awareness course. They just lobbed anything that came to hand... hummus ,a latte or 2 and some luxury quilted bog roll :)
what no cheese? They just lobbed anything that came to hand... hummus ,a latte or 2 and some luxury quilted bog roll :)
I disagree with your 'We didn't deserve all 3 points' comment. 15 shots to the home team's 7, 71 per cent possession, twice as many goals, very much equates to us deserving all three points.
5-5 will do me tomorrow as I will be watching in the pub, if not a chavs win .. don’t want the dippers getting 3 points, whatever the score is…Agree. Though I think we were a bit slow on the ball, I think that was a result of their pinching forward. Still, we held an advantage in possession. Saka had a good goal. Deserved Red on Gabriel. Was a an absolute penalty on Bernardo. He pulled his shirt. Berna may have cooked it a bit but it was still a penalty.
Rodri's goal was good. His celebration was epic. I thought I was watching a US v Mexico match. I was expecting some batteries and urine bags be thrown at our boys. But yes, we deserved the win. But I think we had some tired legs out there. You could tell with the shots we were taking from 3-5 yards outside the box. Way over. Still. 11 points clear. I'm hoping for 0-0 draw tomorrow between Chelsea/Liverpool.

Zero sympathy for us in the press after we dominated at Liverpool and only got a draw. It was all about their good 10 minute. They don’t like us and playing down our success and amplifying our failures is just what they do.Not having this City were lucky chat. Ref and VAR got most of it right, correct decisions were made and the system worked. Only City can get called lucky when things work the way they are meant to. Expect a rule clarification like when Rodri made Mings look a mug.
Whilst we were way below our best we weren't comprehensively outplayed. Replace City with any other team in the league and everyone is talking about what a great away performance it was. We had same amount of shots on target and more shots overall - more possession and more than double their passes. The Martinelli miss is poor play not bad luck and if you want to pursue that line then Laporte was also unlucky not to score with only a brilliant Ake clearance denying him ;)
We don't get anything like enough credit for the desire and hunger we demonstrate. With all the chat about how unfair it is that Liverpool can lose only twice and be out the title race I'm reminded that we also have lost twice. It is the amount of wins we are getting over the last two seasons that are important. Brentford and Arsenal would have been two easys games to drop points in with justifiable reasons BUT we have got maximum points. How Pep has this team working is unbelievable
No, but there was a fondue set.what no cheese?
