Players who might improve us

Friend of mine is a Geordie season ticket holder and is always ridiculously optimistic about their players. He thinks Saint Maxim is exciting but nowhere near good enough for the top level. He compared him to Traore in terms of consistency.

Juve was completely dysfunctional during Ronaldo’s stay, as it was all about accommodating him. He’s played behind the striker or out wide for large parts of his career, but he looks far more suited to playing as a false 9
 
I know we’re not necessarily linked to him but Giovanni Simeone would be a signing worth looking at if the board decide they want a striker. 14 G/A in 17 games and would be available on the cheap and is young and clinical enough in-front of goal to do a job until at least the end of the season.

Digne didn’t work at PSG or Barca so why would he work out here?

he also averaged 31 games a season which is less games than Kompany played for us in 10 years and he had a fair few injuries, he misses a 3rd of his clubs games every year.
 
If we're looking at left backs to replace he who shall not be named, Semedo at Wolves looked very decent tonight, was only against United though!

Only issue with lamptey is his injury record. Really fun player to watch though
 
Keep an eye on that Celtic striker, Kyogo is it? Seems a very underatted player.
 
Well in that case Kyle's not getting any younger. We have Cancello and Zinny as cover on the left.
The fact is Semedo reads the game, can pass and is very quick, ideal I'd say, although maybe not a priority.
