Can anyone help? I need to take the dogs for a walk but can quite clearly see from the window that S7896, E4512, J8976, B1145 and that killer that is L9999999 are all hanging around outside.

Will I be ok so long as I cover my face in a cloth or should I close the curtains and worry all day long?

I’d recommend a full haz-mat suit as then you don’t have to spend any time worrying about what to do in these types of situations.

Or alternatively, just do what you feel is right for you as most people seem to be doing.

not lying, if it weren't true people wouldn't have been offered en masse boosters having been jabbed in July/August. It's a factual occurrence. If it wasn't on the horizon then someone in such a relevant position wouldn't have felt the need to comment against such a proposal. 4-6 is just semantics on the 3 that ended up being rolled out this time around, by the Government changing their guidelines.

There's a middle ground here. We'll end up where we are with the flu. Boosters for the most vulnerable and everyone else will ride it out or be treated with excellent therapeutics.

I have no appetite whatsoever to have a jab every 6 months for the rest of time, and as you probably now I'm one of the most vocal pro-vaccine people on here.

What's your fucking point here? Countries aren't just knocking out boosters for the sake of it. They're being administered as - like Sam said - they're deemed necessary. Talk of a 4th jab (second booster) in Israel is probably because they were pretty much the first country in the world to do boosters and so those getting their booster early on will probably now be experiencing waning immunity just as Omicron is exploding around the world.

None of your lot ever moaned about millions of people getting the flu jab in the UK every year so what's your fucking problem with boosters?

Same. Physically I was pretty much fine for my first two jabs (apart from the panic attack I had in the vaccine centre on the first one, brought on by my phobia of medical settings) but was properly knocked on my arse by the booster.
