No reason to call it off. 7 first team squad players positive, of which most would probably not have played in this game anyway (Obviously depending on who has and hasn’t got it)

There’s no reason for any top flight teams to have postponements. They all have plenty of kids to call upon from their various EDS and youth teams. Which is why it’s a farce Liverpool got theirs postponed yesterday with a combination of Injuries, covid and players at AFCON.

Injures and players away shouldnt and i dont know why they are counted , covid is the problem shirley

It’s hardly the same though is it as high intensity training at the training ground.

Chelsea now becomes a very difficult game with a largely undercooked squad. It’s exactly why I didn’t like some posters saying the title was done. In this current climate with COVID we could easily drop points due to losing key players at bad moments.

The best result will be draw, no way Having covid right now means having more rest which is good for the player. No it isn't, it's affecting them more because like you said less intensity training and preparation for chelsea game.

No reason to postpone it, will only come back to haunt us later on when we would have to play this game instead of getting some much needed rest between games. We are playing a league 2 side ffs, should be able to handle it with 10+ senior players available and some lads from the EDS.

Noticed they specified that Pep & Lillo tested positive on Tuesday, which would mean they should be available before Chelsea next weekend. In my opinion, since this covid outbreak was due to happen sooner or later anyway, it could not have come at a better time, will have a minimum impact on our season (of course it would have been better if it never happened, buts that's unrealistic). Just hope everyone gets well soon!
