The game now has too many fixtures for the top players, especially with internationals taken into account. Managers cannot do much about this as the owners, FIFA, and other powerful voices will not reduce the number of games. What managers can do, however, is assemble a squad with this overload in mind and manage that squad, rotating intelligently and getting buy in from the players who all want to play every game. Careful, though, if you do this successfully your rivals will complain that your depth is not fair, while driving their own players into the ground.
Sympathy rating for Chelsea and Liverpool: 1/10.

Keep asking the question, how the fuck did we lose a champions league final to this pile of shite?
Pep's a genius, and this past 5 seasons have been unbelievable. But that result was down to him. Kante and Mount must have thought all their Christmases had come at once. They had an empty midfield to play in.

It's not fair, ze premier League is so so tough.
Moaning twat really feeling the heat now, strange because they had it won in September

Just when you stop thinking about this it slaps you in the face. No DM, no link between the back and the attacking mids. It was over before it even began. I'll never watch this game again.

What was chelsea’s biggest strength is now their biggest weakness; the biggest/deepest squad in the league, yet he moans about tiredness, classless ****

Tuchel should have a system for when Lukaku plays in as get it to him as quick as possible and put crosses in build a team for him! When he doesn’t play play the possession play

Tiredness is a disease if the mentally weak in sport and our lads must be just as tired physically after playing the chavs of the park twice this season but don't see us complaining. It's because Pep and the players are as one and know what is required

Sometimes watching on you wonder what goes through the head of people. We do not know exactly the circumstances in which Tuchel is managing but he seems to have created his first Chelsea crisis all by himself.

The Lukaku interview should have been brushed under the carpet and dealt with internally. He humiliated the player. He tells everyone including his own players that they are very tired, and finishes it off by questioning the quality of his attacking players. The result is that Ziyech scores at Brighton and does not celebrate.

Yep. Pep uses these mad runs as a way to build momentum in the squad.

If you win, great, keep going. If you don't, fuck it, make it right in the next game.

Mentality is everything.

Funny really - nobody discussed how exhausted our players must have been when we won the 4 domestic trophies in one season.
