that’s a hell of a lot of departures

Lower end of the market for a player is £50 million now maybe and then you are looking at £100 million for players like Grealish and Lukaku. Going with the lower estimate they are looking at £400 million to replace that lot, can you see them doing that in one window plus wages? They will have to go to the youth team and get creative in the market otherwise the squad depth drops and more importantly the quality drops off.

IMO 300M roughly would fix their spine enough to challenge.
1 CB - Maguire replacement (60M)
1 DM - Matic replacement (60M)
1 CM - Pogba replacement - Glaringly obvious hole in their team (80M)
1 ST - Cavani replacement (100M)

Mata, Martial, VanDeBeek, Lingard never played anyway. The only starter, Greenwood, could be replaced by any kid who can run and shoot blindly.

Could they spend that much in 1 year? I'm no good on the FFS FFP.
