What's the story with Ozark? I was waiting for the final season to be all ready to watch but it looks like they've only done 7 episodes and no mention of when the other 7 come out.

We are in episode 4 of the new season, the lack of a recap in episode one has me scratching my head as to wtf is going on.

Yeah I just don't get that, surely just wait and get it all out even if it is a bit later on.
I'll hold off till it is all out, and then watch the whole thing, held off this long, what's a bit more for the final episodes.

They split it because it gives them 2 big releases to keep subscribers interested and press hype.
Most importantly though, the deadlines for Emmy, Bafta, Golden Globes & SAG awards are all before the end of May. So episodes released in Part 1 will be eligible for 1 year and Part 2 of the season will be eligible for the next year.
FYI The second half of the season is expected in September/October.

It’s a great show only slightly ruined by having too many needless sex scenes that rarely offer anything to the plot.
