He was an embarrassment tonight. Hadn’t even bothered to learn the one change in the handball rule - and utterly unaware that it’s now different for defenders and attackers.
Maybe he is incapable of developing insight with that closed “dial a cliche” mentality of his. However, he could at least have informed the watching public instead coming out with “What would have happened if a defender did that?” re the accidental handball.

He’s as thick as the leather on his outdated football boots and as much of a blue as Anthony Taylor is (or was until tonight) an Altrincham fan.
