My son went on a corporate jolly on Friday to the swamp as a guest of a Utd high up. Sat in the directors box two rows behind Rednose.
At the end no body moved until the piss scan himself rose and left the directors box.

We all have favourite seasons we look back on that stint in division 2 in 98-99 was up there with what we did in 2012 or winning the league by a 100 points. Getting on the piss down Oxford rd back to Manchester City Center every home game, the full on riot by the Millwall fans in the North stand was memorable for the wrong reasons. Going on a run into the back end of the season and reaching a Wembley final was beyond my wildest dreams, not to mention the 2 day wait in line to get a ticket from the ticket office.

Their only passion for football is bragging about trophies in what ever pub they watch the game in down Kent. No matter how shit it gets us as blues are always passionate about gods own football club. That’s the difference between us and them.

What i found funny was that as they were coming off at half time the commentator said "VAR are looking for a possible penalty for United".
They must be fucking desperate.

I think that was on 94 mins. It was literally as they were walking off the pitch to prep for extra time.

Most rags have never felt the despair of relegation, let alone dropping into the third tier of English football and no rag has ever felt the elation of winning the League title with practically the last kick of the season, and in doing so, snatching it away from their hated local rivals, who had lorded it over them season after season, as they racked up the trophies.

The events of the last 25 years or so make us a unique fan base.

What's been one of the most satisfying things about the last 10 years has been their total lack of self - awareness about what was actually happening to that shitstain of a club. Granted we're still a long way off their 'never mentioned' haul of trophies, but, we're very professionally, methodically and in style chipping away at it. To use a phrase I heard once we probably will overtake them, but, not in my lifetime :(
How the fuck they keep getting in the top four fuck knows (okay! I know, I know.....) it can't keep happening though. It has been well and truly pointed out on here many times, by better informed than I just how their current position is teetering on the brink - lovely to witness.
Sooner or later their rancid good fortune will run out, it has too surely? When it does the thought of where we will be is the stuff of our collective crazy 1980's & 1990's dreams. This ride we're on isn't ending any time soon - it's always been great supporting our wonderful club, even during the darkest of dark days we would laugh at ourselves and that my fellow Blues is what them glory hunting, plastic fuckwits could never, and never will, understand. We sang City 'til I Die in the 3rd Tier and meant it. Compare that with not being interested anymore. I bless the day City chose me as a supporter. MCFC OK. mufc SCUM.
